"Somewhat. I'm better at poker though." She said, sitting down at the table.

Lina, the young, rather comely maid knocked on the door twice better being certain that the two royals in the room were not going at it.
"Your Highnesses, I have something for you." She said, walking in.
She handed a piece of paper to the young princess and then turned to the prince, leaning slightly over the table, with her collar pulled slightly down. She handed him several pieces of paper with a wink.
"Enjoy." She told him, before curtsying and exiting.

Daxton took the letters with out really noticing the maid. She seemed like a girl he'd used to go for- and yeah, he'd rather not mess up his marriage, so paying her no mind seemed better.
He opened the first letter, got half way through before his face was bright red. Dear Mara Mother!

Deidra on the other hand burst out laughing at the very opening. Good Sweet Mother Mara, her grandmother used to be a real card. "Honey, you'll know if he's doing it right. And if he isn't, tell me, because there are some lovely books I can show it." Was among her favorite parts.

Daxton put down his mother's letter, not needing to know how to pleasure a girl... or any of the other thing she put in. "You gotta do it right, or she won't wanna, and I want grandkids!"
He picked up his father's read the first line, and set that one down. The next one was from his father in law, and he had to admit, the man had a sense of humor. He got the the mother in laws, finally...wow she really wanted grandkids. And oh dear Mara, he didn't need to know how she liked it!

Deidra laughed and finished her letter.
"And, dear, how were your letters?" She asked, on the verge of laughter.

"I now know how to..." he shuddered, "please people that I never wanted to in that way before."

She could guess the content by his face and by the content of hers and she laughed a bit.
"I take it our parents want grandchildren?" She asked.

She laughed.
"Oh I see." She said, with a wink.

This made him blush more....
He shuffled the cards a bit more.

(ooc. feel free to have dax take this any way he likes.)
"Tap me." She said, giving the very very Rassi-specific slang for "Deal these cards, good sir." Of course, if another country had a different meaning, she didn't know it.

Daxton blinked.
"I'm sorry what?" he asked, baffled.

She repeated, slowly, in a deadpan manner.
"Tap me." She said, pointing to the cards. "Deal. Are we going to play or not?"
(ooc. should all of her poker slang be somewhat.....hmmmm....embarrassing for him to hear if he doesn't (and I doubt he will) know what she's saying? Or all of her slang period? Because I'm guessing Rassi slang is a lot different than Graevian slang.)
