She laughed.
"Sounds like the stuff my Aunt gave me for my birthday." She said. "I believe one went: How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of Being and ideal Grace"
She gave a false half-swoon dramatically at the end.

He snickered.
"I think some people have film over their eyes, something like that, to keep them from seeing straight, thinking straight.... ya know generally being intelligent." he said.

"It's not all their fault. Their friends never ripped the film off." She said. She shuddered. "Dear God, that means that there's more of them out there."
She took a step to look around the library. It seemed rather vast, but of course it must have it's limitations. Most libraries aren't magical. Most.

Daxton nodded.
"Friends dont' always do their jobs properly." he noted, and followed her gaze around. He loved this library when ever his father had him come along.

"We should probably go see the other parts of the castle." She said, knowing that seeing the other parts would come in handy later but not really wanting to leave the library. But she could always come back again later. And never leave. Ever.

He smiled and nodded.
He offered her his arm as they continued through the castle.

She took it and they quickly left the library. It was not long though before they came to another room of notice, or rather, that's how it seemed given that Daxton opened another door.
"What's in here?" She asked, as he was opening the door.

Daxton shrugged.
"I wasn't sure," he said looking around the almost empty room- or it looked empty. "Do you see a torch anywhere?"

She looked at the wall that the door was in. There was indeed an unlight torch right next to the door. She took it out of it's holdings and passed it to him.
"If you are able to start a fire, this should be able to work." She said.

He smiled. Daxton stepped out into the hall, light the torch on the another and walked back into the room.
He walked around with the light torch lighting a couple other torches he could see now that there was light inside.

Her eyes widened slightly. That was a very large statue and it appeared to be made of gold. Or possibly pyrite. But she couldn't tell them apart by sight. Maybe by comparison and the like, but never by sight. Maybe that's why pyrite worked so well.

Daxton stared at the statue with the torch still in his hand.
"That's a big statue..." he said, forgetting the torch was in his hand and letting it fall back onto his shoulder.

"Oh! Watch out there!" She said, as she saw the lit torch fall onto his shoulder. She managed to grab it right above where his hand was gripping it and moving it away from his shoulder. "I'd rather not have you burned."

He smiled.
"Uh...whoops?" he said. "I've always been a bit of a klutz."

She laughed a little bit.
"So if you fall down the stairs, I know not to ask questions?" She teased.
