She turned and began walking the other way when she saw a bear walk out of the cave and sniff the air. She turned and ran back over to a smirk Delvin.
"Bear!" She said.

Delvin nodded. "Told ya so." he muttered. He grabbed her hand and started running. He kept running till they reached the edge of the encampment.
"Dammit, no one should get this much exersize in one day." he said, then looked at Thena, "You okay?"

"Yeah." She said, shakely. "Why was that bear out of hibernation? What kind of place am I in?"

Delvin laughed. "Welcome to Woodland. The bear gave up on hibernation a couple years ago after the children around here messed with it too much, it is actually kind of a game. Who can get the bear with out dieing. No one had died in a couple years now." Delvin said.
He had a few scars from that particular game. The woodlands were good runners, you didn't play with the bear unless you were a good runner, it was considered an honor to get up to the bear level. The game was pretty complex but really fun.

"I don't like this." She said. "I want to go home. I just want to go home. I want to go home."
Her voice got softer on each "go home". By the time she finished she was speaking to herself.

Delvin had no idea how to react to that. He had never been torn away from his home, with people chasing him winding up in an unfamiliar place.
He just gave her a hug.

She hugged him back.
"I don't know if you care or not, but thank you." She said.

Delvin smirked.
"Come on, lets get you food." he said. He wasn't quite sure if he cared or not, the girl was frustrating but still a curiosity. "This time, you are going to eat. Or I will force you to eat."

"You can't force me to do anything." She said. "And I'm not hungry."

Delvin rolled his eyes. "You wanna bet?" he asked. "Your body has grown used to the hunger and doesn't recognize it anymore. When you get some food you will realize how hungry you really are. You haven't eaten in two days, wouldn't you normally say that you need to eat in that time period?"

"No." She said. "I normally just eat when I feel like it. Which is every three to four days."

Delvin rolled his eyes.
"That is most defiantly not healthy" Delvin said. He picked her up. "Yeah, you are way to light. You need food."

She felt herself being swooped up and suddenly she was no longer on the ground but in Delvin's arms, bridal style. It was rather ackward, but by no means uncomfortable. She might just have to get someone to carry her around like this all the time......
"Could you please put me down?" She asked. "I do not like being held."

Delvin shook his head. "Nope. Sorry." he said, smirking, again.
She didn't like being picked up? Now he knew what he would use as revenge for now on. He started walking towards one of the restaurants, well one of the only two, the girl still needed food.

"Hey! I wasn't kidding! Put me down!" She said, twisting and trying to get free. She saw where they were headed. "Hey! I don't need to eat! Stop trying to get me to eat! I don't wanna get fatter!"
