Lily read the message and paled. The message was "We're watching you.", written in feminine handwriting.
"What do you think this means?" She asked her aunt.

"What the fuck? Why would they write to me? I've made my opinion on their assholeness quite known." She said. "Besides, I haven't talked to one of them ever. Disregarding Rast and Gabe's heritage, of course."

"Ah, but Lily, you have much potential, to expand in art. Or if you ever decide to follow a different path. The Rassi's might see that. They are smart enemies, not all blood an gore."

Jay's smile faded as she thought.
Everything was so quick. Her best friend missing. Years spent with these kids, then two go missing, most likely never to be seen again. She wasn't going to kid herself, she got over believing in miracles, though her daughter thought she still did.
May getting married moving to the woodland- a few months ago Jay thought that her daughter would never know her mother's side of heritage. She still wanted to teach her daughter much- and so did Charlie, but time had run out.
Now Lily was probably going to leave, to who knows where for who knows how long.
Elly was having her own struggle, which she didn't know what was going to happen. Elly might leave, she never knew with that girl.
Aeron was soon- if not already married to another girl- not the one any of them expected. May saying Phyre and not Aeron was probably one of the bigger shocks of Jay's life. And the boy was going to be starting his own life soon.
Things change quickly.
Jay took a breath. The second time she took this in- and it was still hard to take.
'Ama, get your ass back here." Jay thought cursing her best friend. Though she knew and was pretty sure Ama knew with out telling her- Which slightly pissed off her unlogical side- that she would probably never see her again.
"Soon, probably. A week or two from now. Wrap everything up, maybe make a little bit of extra cash. Don't make it look like the scared you off at first. Though, dying your hair wouldn't be the best of ideas. Bleach does massive amounts of damage to your hair, then you would have to keep it up, witch would be a pain. Your name, you need to be sure isn't to similar to your own." Jay said, eyes closed, remembering all the plans she had thought of when Ama and her were planing to leave.
It was only yesterday she was helping these girl figure out clothing choices. Now how to leave town.

Lily's smiled faded.
"Auntie Jay, I was only kidding. I'm not going anywhere. Not while Elly and I still have work to do and Gabe and Rast are still out there." She said. "Don't worry, ok?"
