It was a quite place to think, you know? So what if you're leaning against a gravestone as you read your grimmoire and try to fill in blanks left by those who possesed it before you. And fix errors. Like how grave mushrooms are better when harvested under a waning crescent, not a waxing one. A cemetary is still a quite place to think.
She was actually leaning against her father's grave, so when someone came to ask her who she was grieving for (it had happened once or twice you know) she could just say her father.
Which when a shadow fell over her, she just assumed it was an old lady coming to comfort her. That's who it normally was.
"Yes M'am?" She asked.

Tristin was heading towards the crypt that he would hopefully find Sally in. A girl leaning against a gravestone caught his eye though. Princess.
"Yes M'am," she asked.
"I never really thought I looked like a M'am, but you never know." Tristin said. "Have you seen a cat scurry through here?"

"No, I don't have a habit of loosing him. He went to find a friend of ours, I got held up so I couldn't follow him," Tristin said. "My hair isn't all that long." He ran his hand through his hair. Charlie said he should cut it....

She rolled her eyes.
"Yes, it is long." She said. "I hope you find your friend."
She went back to her book, determined to ignore him. He annoyed her.

Tristin stuck his tongue out at her. But he saw Mittens in the grass next to her, and smiled. Mittens looked ready- well did pounce. On the princesses head. Sally- Healthy was not all that far behind him.

Tristin smirked. Sally was the one that told Mittens to get off the girls head though. "Hey, Sally," Tristin said. Sally came and gave him a hug. "Princess, this is Sally. Sally this is the witch I told you about." Tristin introduced them.
Sally smiled politely at the girl. "Ahh, So this is the girl." she said. "Hi, I'm Sally."

"For some reason I don't believe that, princess." Tristin stated, rewarding him with a sharp jab in the side from Sally.
"Sorry about Tristin, he is a little mean. You have a lovely name, even if it is fake, Ms. Natt." she said.
