She nodded silently.
"Yeah." She said, in case he didn't see.

Delvin nodded in return and started off the beaten path up to the complex. His mom and grandmother wouldn't be home, his mom was at work and his grandmother was staying with his uncle for the day. "Okay." he said.

Athena threw on her clothes and ran after Delvin. She caught up and follow him, silently until they reached his house. Or it better be his house, since this was the roof he so cruelly assualted the day before.

Delvin opened the door and let Thena in. "Welcome to my home." Delvin said. He walked in after her and headed for the kitchen motioning for her to follow him. He started on making pancakes.

She sat down nervously at the table. She didn't really want to run into his mother. She didn't know how his mom would react to someone she had never seen before at the kitchen table. She surveyed the room. It was nice. Someone obviously cared alot about their home. She bit her lip nervously and played with her hair.

Delvin noticed that Thena seemed a little on edge. "Don't worry Mom is at work and will be for another seven hours and my grandmother is staying at my uncles." He said taking a guess at why she was on edge. He had been in her place once or twice before.

She breathed a sigh of relief. It wasn't like she had been in this postion before. She wasn't really sure where to go from here. What was she supposed to do? What was she supposed to feel? She was confused.
It looked like he was having some trouble with the pancakes. Typical male. Can't cook to save his life. She got up and went over to him. She stood behind him and grabbed his hands and guided them on the proper way to cook a pancake. It did take skill after all.

Delvin gratefully excepted the help. He sucked at cooking. "Thanks." They finished the pancakes and he set the table.
"Now, eat."

She raised an eyebrow at him.
"Why order me around? I do believe I said I would." She said. She took a knife and fork and cut the pancake up and began slowly eating it.

"Just making sure," he said and went back in the kitchen pored a glass of orange juice and sat down.

"So you say." She said, with a smile. "Now tell me, how old are you? I think you know just about everything about me, so tell me this."

"17, barely." She said, taking another bite of pancake. "When's your birthday?"

"December 21st." Delvin answered. Gosh the girl was young. Two years between wasn't much in number but it was a lot when you were still teenager. "Yours?"
