Saffron sighed and slowed down, but still walked backwards. "Okay, but running will warm you up, ange et diable." Ron said to them.

"After a few moments. Which means that until then we have a shivering and slow Thane. And I'm only going to go as fast as she can go." Bran said. "So just slow down, please."

"Thanks." Carmina said, through chattering teeth. Lying in the snow was not the best decision in she could have made apparently. Worth it anyway.
"Aren't you cold Ron?" She asked.

Ron smiled and shook her head. "No, my cloak was made for winter weather, so is the rest of my outfit. I spend at least 8 hours a day outside selling flowers." Ron said.

"And what is this magical flower that not only blooms in winter, but enough of it blooms to cause you to stand outside in the cold for an ungodly amount of hours?" Bran asked. "That just seems a little extreme on your part."

"It is my job, diable. I enjoy it. People don't buy flowers every minute, I'm lucky for one ever fifteen minutes, in winter." Ron said. "Winter jasmine, quincettas, winter health, coral bells, are all winter flowers. Plus my aunt keeps an indoor garden. There are imports as well."

"Ok. And my question of why people care to buy flowers in the winter still stands. It's cold and the prices of flowers shot through the roof during the winter. There's a war going on. No one should even be able to afford things like flowers." Bran said.

Saffron shrugged. "People like the little pieces of spring they can get. My aunt and I try not to raise our prices as much, That way we stay in business. There are also always women who want winter wonderland weddings as well." Ron said. Currently there were two brides that needed flowers for their weddings.

"Who the hell has a wedding in this godforsaken time of the year. Aren't weddings supposed to be in spring and be all pink and stuff?" He asked, shuddering from the fear of pink.

Saffron shurgged. "The snow, some brides like it better than the green and flowers. Not all brides are pink." Ron said.

"Tell that to my cousin Deara. The pink freak. I'm just lucky I live too far away to be subjected to the torture of her wedding." Carmina said.

Saffron shook her head. "Every woman is different for their wedding. I haven't met many pink obsessed though." Ron said.

"Marriage is over rated. In the end, it's just a piece of paper that says that you love someone. You don't need a piece of scrap paper to tell you that." Carmina said. "It's expensive and it's pointless."

"I gotta agree with you there Thane. Marriage is just a scam. Most people do it for money and power and not love. It's got no meaning whatsoever." Bran said.
