Serena sat at favorite sitting spot, the balcony. It held a small table and two nice big chairs in the corner. She smiled, as usual as she came out to her balcony when it was night out. It was cold and it felt nice to Serena.
She sighed, "nothing better than relaxing and reading a good book."
She sat near the balcony bars that was finely made by hand and opened her book. Serena held a lot on her mind, she was cleaning out her room, wasn't huge at first. Old clothing that she never wore that will soon go to people who most needed them, boxes, pictures, but one picture she couldn't get rid of. The picture of Tidus, her ex-boyfriend, and her. She thought he understood her just like Amaya. Tears had knotted her eyes when she saw it.
It was long before she knew that he told her he had to go on a long mission and not to wait on him. It broke her heart into pieces. Though, she hadn't told anyone about him, only Amaya and she would be the only one who would feel sympathy for her for what she thought. He understood her secrets and the path of her dark ability to where there was light in her and it was a burned away.
Though right now it didn't matter, she was reading a book and she wasn't fighting no one. Until she heard a knock on her door below her. She got up and put her book down, looking over the balcony she couldn't see who it was because of the slight disfunction she had in her light.
"Who is it?"

'Speak of the devil and he shall appear' Tidus thought, as he rounded the corner to Serena's home. There wasn't a day that goes by that he didn't think of her. When he did finally come home, he set out to track her down. It wasn't easy, with the war and all, but he was relieved to find out that she was alive and well, but was hard to track down.
So how was it that the one day he actually spoke of Serena to someone was the day he would find her. The day he might see her again.
He had spoken of the devil, and in a way, the devil had appeared. He was in front of her home. It took all of his willpower to not run into the home and see if she was there. He simply knocked. A few seconds later, he heard a "Who is it?" in Serena's voice.
"It's me, the lonely wanderer." He said, using her pet name for him. He was the Lonely Wanderer and she was Guiding Light.

Hearing the voice she had heard before her that said, 'the lonely wander,' enlightened Serena, but it scared her. She only used and heard that name with Tidus, his voice went through her head. But was it hallucination? All her worries that had came back just from cleaning was tormenting her.
She called out to see if it was really him, "come out to the moons gaze so I can see you more intently."
What if it was a hallucination? Would she have more frequently? Serena began to get a feeling inside that was telling her that it was him, but how would her gut know when her heart didn't?

He walked out to beneath her balacony, where he could see her.
"Fairest lady of the land, I have been a fool and a jester of the worst sort. Forgive my sins?" He asked. "Fairest of ladies, guider of the lost, your beauty makes others pale in comparison. You are a rose, and rose by any other name, would smell as sweet and be as beautiful."
He walked more into the moon's gaze. He knew that he had hurt her, but he wanted to make it up to her. Make her happy again.
"There is no name for the beauty of the guiding light, no words can describe it and no artist can paint it. Who am I, but a lonely and lost wanderer, seeking light and forgiveness for his wrongs?" He said to her.

All Serena could think of, 'is this really true?' She smiled solemnly, unsure, but pleased.
"Oh, Lonely Wander, do you come back for the and the mission comeplete," she literally could not believe this. He was her Lonely Wanderer and she was his Guiding Light, from what she last remember.
"I do say that I don't know what thy heart says as you say that I am a rose as sweet as the angels touch, I shall not forgive till I know that tis is real," she said, her heart sunk.

"Tis me, Ma Cherie. I have traveled far and wide, all in search of my guiding light, my angel of beauty and grace. This is not a dream or trick of the mind, my love. I am here, I am real. How can I but prove this to be true and not false?" Tidus said. "Speak, my love, and I shall obey. Whatever it takes to convince the angel."

"On beckon on your life?" Serena asked, "what is the symbol to the love to what we have, now and to be forever?"
That question was one true spoken symbol that could be real and the touch of the skin of hope and desires would help make her believe.

"Tis the moon, ma cherie. The moon by which we swore all those promises of old. Promises that I am ashamed to admit that I broke by leaving you standing in the meadow that day, oh so long ago." Tidus said. "Tis be the moon, my love. The moon is by what we swore."
He saw a thing of ivy leading up to the balcony. He, using he training, climbed it and found himself face to face with his ma cherie, his Serena.
"We swore to never leave, to always love, and to always remain true. We swore these, my love, by the moon, the very same, as thy angelic name."

Hearing his answer Serena knew this was true, but why did it take him so long to get here, to see her again. He never did tell her about the mission he was to go on, but it was his ideal mission to know about.
Serena smiles at Tidus, "to you, thee is true, the moon is to be our bond to what we know we did swore on the moon," she said, hopeful, her heart felt full again. Hopeing this isn't dream she touched his cheek.

She touched his cheek and he placed his hand on her shoulder. And then he kissed her.

His touch felt real, in relief she kissed him back. She haven't felt as happy as she is now since the day before Tidus left her. She closed her eyes and held his neck softly and moves her head back from his.
"Lonely Wander, have you found your Guiding Light?" she asked him.

"My angel, I do believe I have. Can you forgive me?" He asked. He was willing to go down on his knees if nessecary. "I was wrong, I was foolish, and I was cruel. I shouldn't have left, I should have taken you with me, like you asked. I was wrong. For that, milady, I am most earnestly sorry."

Feeling the utmost hurt in her heart she had to forgive him, she loved him and still do.
"I do forgive to thee, eversince you left I always wanted you near me, before so the mission was only your job and I had to take in to not come with you and bear in my heart with you leaving," she said to him.

"My light, that is all I wanted to hear. Ever since I left thee in a meadow in bloom, thou hath been upon my mind and in my mind's eye. Thou must be a witch to have enchanted me so." He said, hugging her. "I shall never leave you again, Serena, for fear of losing you, my love."

Serena smiled at what he had said, thankful to be with him for the longest time she will ever know.
"I shall follow you if I must, for I am your Guiding Light, I'll never leave by your side either, Tidus, I love you," she said and intertwined her arms around him as he hugged her.
