"I love you as well, Serena, ma cherie. I could never leave you either. " He said. She invited him in and they sat down on the couch, holding hands.

Smiling, feeling warm once more in her life she felt more complete.
"My dear Tidus, what was your mission about? How did it go?" she asked, hoping to not intrued.

For once, not rhyming, he told her.
"It was a sucess, or so they called it. I was to gain the trust of the Admiral Earlings, become his friend. Then I was to spy upon him. It went well. I quickly became his friend, the son he never had. His wife admired me as well, as did his ten year old daughter. They were good people, and it killed me to spy upon this family who looked on me as a son and a brother. Then, after the group who put out the contract got their information, they told me to kill them all. I protested and tried to put it off. But then they did some digging. They found out about the war here, about you and Ama and all our friends. It was either the Earlings or you, Ama, and everyone else. So I killed them. And I've regretted it ever since. I killed the one man who was proud of me. The one person who was like a father to me. It still haunts me." He said.

For once in a long time she felt untentional feeling, warm, but complete sorrow.
"Tidus, it will be fine. I do not think that man that you gained trust of you is not dissappointed. I would not be," she looked down, "I'm proud of you and I hope you know that."

He put his head on her shoulder.
"Thanks Serrie. I told them about you. Probably about half the things I talked about were about you. Anna, their daughter wanted to meet you. I suppose I did one thing right. I saved Anna. I told her father that it would be in his best interests if Anna and his wife went away for awhile. He only sent Anna away though. To her grandmothers. " Tidus said.
It was the one thing he was proud of. A ten year old girl didn't have to die because of him, atleast. But a thirty year old mother and a thirty-five year old father did.

Serena rubs his head slowly.
"So your saying that the little girl is still alive?" she asked quite confused.

"Yeah, well technically no. I put the corpse of another girl with similar features who had died earlier that day of scarlet fever. You know I don't kill children." He said. "They don't know she's alive, but seeing as how I didn't kill her, yes she's alive. I sent a message to her grandparents, annoymously, telling them to change her name and possibly her hair color so that they dont' find out. I couldn't tell you if they did that, but they did." He said. "What have you been doing recently?"

"Oh, I see. We should go see her, if you want," she said, Serena wanted to see what she was like, "I haven't been really doing anything lately. Just cleaning and being with Amaya."
She hasn't been doing a whole bunch lately since the sickness was around.

"We could. Maybe one day." He said, distantly. "I wasn't here for the war. I regret that, I should have been here, fighting with my friends. I should have been here with you, my love."

"Remember, if that is what you want," she said, knowing his voice, "I know that you would've and you would've done great at it. But you had to do something important."
She hugged him once more and got up to make some food.
"You hungry?" she asked, with a smile upon her pale face.

"Yeah. You know what I like, ma cherie. I'm sure you'll figure out something." He said. He followed her into her kitchen. "It's changed here in Onoska. I can't decide if it's good or bad. Amaya's married to an imperial, many of my friends are dead or ill, and with the woodlands retreating back into the forest, I can't even see some of them. And Shireton didn't house Crescents. It was almost abandoned."

She opened her cabnit to see what she had, his favorite thing to eat is always something garlic, and luckily she had garlic. She took out the ingerdiants she needed and began making the food they both were hungry for.
"For Amaya, as long as she's happy, I'm happy, but I do hope she knows what she is doing. I'm sure your friends will recover, they are strong enough to pull through and the ones dead will be looking out for you. I don't know about the woodland people, but you could always try to see them," she said, trying to reassure Tidus. Hopefully it was working.

"Yeah, you're right, as long as everyone is happy. Then again, you are always right." He said, smiling. He was feeling better, just being here. Being home had already made his spirits higher.
"Well, now, ma cherie, you do remember my favorite food! Of course, you did always have the best memory." He said.

It was good to see Tidus happier, she loved it when she saw his smile, it warmed her like nothing else had before.
"Course, parogues(sp?) and garlic bread," she said, smiling at him. Cooking some parogues in a pot of boiling water and a pan with bread covered in garlic.

"Of course, my favorite. Remember how we met? Garlic." He said, smiling at the memory. "It's good to be back, Serrie. I've missed it all. I've missed you too."
