Sonja knew that it was time. It was too early, supposedly, but nonetheless, it was time for her baby to come. Time to go get Jaysn, she guessed.
"Hey Jaysn." She said, going up to her. "What would you say if I found you something to do for the next day or so? 'Cause I think I found the perfect job for you. "

"It's nothing big...Well, not really anyway. I just need to have my baby delievered! Jaysn my water broke!" Sonja exclaimed. "It's time!"

Jay was surprised it was a month early! "Okay, Well lets get you to a bed." Jay said. She got someone near here to go get Amaya and someone else get some water a blanket and a few other things she was going to need. "Okay now Sonja I need you to breath like this....." Jay gave her an example.

Sonja's labor went by quickly. She knew it was early, but she also knew alittle about fetal development. The last month was just one of gaining weight. She may have been about 2 weeks early, but she'll be ok, and so would the baby.
Finally the child was out and she heard cries. She started crying herself. She heard vaguely that Jaysn said the child was a girl.
"Can I see her?" Sonja asked.

Jay cut the cord and told Sonja of course she could hold the baby. She handed the little girl to her mother. Sonja looked at her baby lovingly then her eyes rolled back. "Amaya get the baby I'm about to loose Sonja!"
Jay tried to do everything she could to save Sonja but in the end Sonja's heart stopped beating. Jay went up to Amaya tears in her eyes. "I lost her."

Amaya held back tears. She took the baby and held her close to her chest.
"What do we do now?" Amaya said. She knew that she couldn't just let the child go on without a name in the first place.
"Sonja wanted to name her Lilith Oriasa if she was a girl. So I guess that's her name now." Amaya said.

"Yeah, Lilith Oriasa Lamont. We are going to have to tell Luke. I guess we are going to have to raise her and Luke will be here when the war is over or the city's lock down is over." Jay said. She still had tears down her face but they needed this worked out first.

"We need to do something else first. We need to give her a proper burial." Amaya said. "What should we do about that? We can't wait for Kyyra's lockdown to end, you know. And it'll be hard to get the news to Luke. Dody doesn't see him as often anymore, and we haven't seen the guys in a few days either. We are in deep shit."

(ooc. I hope this is ok, and btw if sonja's water had broke i doubt she would have been able to breathe, or really move much. but o well. btw did sonja die of a heart atack, brain faliure or what?) Dody finally spoke "I could try to find Luke and tell him. But um, if i cant im sorry. Word moves pretty fast though, even now in this cricis. The only thing i'd be worried about is how trust worthy word is." Dody was having a real hard time talking. Tears were in her eyes and some had rolled down her cheeks.  She sat down. "As for a burial im sorry i dont have any ideas. Maybe somewhere she loved to be?" |

"Yes we most definaltly are. Who ever we see next that goes into the city we will tell about Sonja and hope they can get to Luke. I'll get a couple people to help me dig her grave. We'll give her a proper burial then we can try to figure this out." Jay said.

(ooc. when your water breaks you can move around normally and breath normally to, until a contraction comes. she died of hemoragging and other causes that had she been alive today, would have been prevented. In other words, she died because I, the great Cecil, said so.)
"One more thing." Amaya held up little Lilith. "Who's gonna take her until Luke gets here. We can't just leave her here to die. We also can't send her with the evacuees, since we may never see her again after that. We could just take care of her, but we need to have a plan. Who's gonna stay up with her night after night? Who's going to feed her? In a rare case in which she has to stay here, who's gonna tell her about her parents and how amazing they were?"

"I can take care of her. We should probably take turns staying up with her. And we can wait to tell her until she askes. But for now we are her aunts acting mothers." Jay said knowing that she would be doing more work than Amaya.

"Well, I actually had another idea. We'll have to ask her, but I know someone that liked Sonja alot and was very excited to have a little kid running around. Said that this place or anywhere really hadn't had much joy recently, and this would be just the thing. She's already spoiled the kid rotten by making them a nursery." Amaya said. "Can you guess who?"
