Jay looked at Charles for maybe the second time that night. "Her belly was slightly swollen, thats all. It's pretty easy when they are that far along." Jay answered. She was hoping that everything was going to be okay between Dante and Amaya.

"Yeah, at that point you can usually tell. However, given that some animals carry towards the back of their uterus, sometimes they don't look as big or even like they have a child in them." Amaya said. "So in all honesty, you can never truly know."
Amaya looked at the sky.
"We should probably hurry up and get there before it becomes light." Amaya said.
(ooc. i just felt like putting that in there. )

Margarite made her way across the lawn and Alice ran into her outstretched arms.
"It's so good to have you home Alice." Margarite said. She saw the two unfamilar boys. "You two must be Dante and Charles. Welcome. Welcome to my home. For precautionary reasons, we must blindfold you as we take you down to the base. I do hope you understand."

"Yeah we understand." Charles said. Margarite geustured for the girls to put blind fold on them. Jay pulled two strips of black cloth out of her bag and handed one to Amaya. Amaya put one on Dante as Jay put one on Charles. Charles felt Jaysn's hand grab his arm gently and direct him where they were going.

Dante felt like he was going down alot of stairs before the blindfold was taken off. The room was dim and cold. It looked like they were underground, but the place still looked comfortable.
"Where are we?" Dante asked.

"This is the base of the Crescents." Amaya said, with a slight pride in her voice. The very way she stood said that this was her home and that she would defend it.
"Is it not fine? My room is the fifth on the right down that hallway" Amaya said, pointing towards it. "What do you think?"

Charle looked around after he go used to the lighting. The base was big and expansive. "Wow, it seem big, Amaya. How long did it take to build?" Charlie asked curious about how they built the base. He always wanted to know how things were made.

"Well, as with many houses, this was just a basement. The room you are standing in is the original basement, without all the hallways and other rooms of course. After that, the basement was just added on to. We're still not done with it even now. It keeps growing as the group does. Nobody's building it, it just keeps growing." Amaya said.
(ooc. thought i'd add in a little stephen king "rose red" in there with the building on it's own thing. love that movie!)

"Wow thats odd. Like you suddenly see new rooms or slowly grows?" Charles asked really curious about the history of this place now. It seemed strange to him how a basement could just grow.

"Well, I don't know. One day you could try to count all the rooms in the place and come up with 33, and the next day it's 45, and so on and so forth. Jay and I once did that. When we gave up, we came up with 67 rooms total. That was 5 years ago." Amaya said. "I don't know if the place is haunted, or if it's magic, or there's a night crew that builds, but this place grows. And it's not going to stop growing either. No matter what happens."

Charles saw how admint about her home Amaya was in her facial expression. She didn't think the Cresents would ever stop recruiting. "How long have you lived here Amaya?" Charles asked.

"My whole life." Amaya said. "And I hope that I'm always able to call this place some sort of home, even if I don't live here full time later on in life."

"Well, deary you might not even make it to later in life." The Captian said appering from his hiding space. "Batallion ATTACK!!" He yelled as his troops swarmed in from the entrance and started causing devastation to the base. But he did look at his son and say, "Good job Dante." Then went back to fighting.

Amaya and Jay both fought back to back. But the thing that rang the most in her mind was that Captain Smith had told Dante "good job." That hurt. How could he?! He betrayed them! If it was the last thing she did, she would kill him!
But she never got that chance. Because the next thing she knew, she was unconcious. It happened like this:
"Behind you Jay!" Amaya yelled at her friend, ignoring her own danger. But Jay was hit over the head by someone else. And so was Amaya.
