"Dante and Amaya had been going out for a couple of weeks and today they had a huge fight cause he found out Amaya was a Crescent. Dante really likes her but you'd have to ask Jay about Amaya's feelings on everything thats been going on." Charles answered. He was wondering if him and Jay still had a chance too, She had barely looked at him tonight.

Jaysn looked at Amaya's mother and said "Mam, Amaya likes him a lot but she has been hurt before so it isn't how she feels it is whether she can trust him or not." Jaysn shot a glance at Amaya and saw the hurt still in her eyes. Amaya would heal eventually.
"Okay guys lets get started." Jay said to the whole cabin. She knelt down next to Moonstone and petted her. Moonstone tried to get up and follow but Jay told her not to. "Sleep, Moon sleep." Moonstone amediatly went to sleep and Jay and the others left the cabin.

Dante walked alongside Amaya, but they didn't speak. The trek lasted for a few miles and with each step, he could see Amaya die alittle more inside. He expected that though. She had just found out that her friends were in danger and it didn't help that she hadn't had time to get over their fight and he was already standing next to her.
"I'm sorry." He whispered to her.

Amaya looked up at him.
"It's not your fault." She said. "You're just the messanger. You didn't have to come tell us, but you did. So thanks."
Suddenly Jay said something that made them all stop.
"What is it Jaysn?" Amaya asked.

"Amaya, don't move please. Forest cat." Jaysn said. Looking at the long toothed beast that was right next to her friend. "Charles get Alice a little farther down the path." Jay took a deep breath and slowly went to her belt to get her dagger.

It was too late though. Amaya didn't move, but it still saw her. It pounced towards her, it's reflexes quick. But thankfully, Dante was quicker. He unsheathed his sword and stabbed it before it could hurt her.
"Are you ok Amaya?" He asked, looking her over to check for wounds.

"Yeah, I'm fine" Amaya said, slightly shaky. The rest of the group still had a terrified look on their face, but it was slowly being replaced with a look of relief.
"Are you guys ok?" Amaya asked.

Charles and Alice nodded. Jaysn said "Yeah were all okay." Jaysn bent over the beast and saw that the stab only incapitated it it would be fine if it got proper care. Jay went into her bag and got out some moss to put in the wound and whispered into the Forest cat's ear, "Rest, heal don't hurt any more humans."

Amaya went over to Jay and put her hand on her shoulder.
"I'm sure the cat will be fine. After all, you're the one tending to it." Amaya said.

"Yeah, she'll be fine but i'll still be worried she's with child." Jaysn said to Amaya. "There see there's her mate okay guys lets go her mate will take care of her for now." Jaysn knew she was probably the only one who cared about the cat's well being but she didn't care. "Lets keep moving."

"Yeah, I'm sure. Why do you care anyway?" Amaya said, annoyed and started walking faster. She got all the way up to where Jaysn was leading them.

"Because I do!" Dante yelled, catching up with her. "Because for some odd reason, I care about Amaya! I really do!"
It was then that he noticed everyone was staring at him because of his outburst.

Charles felt a little embarrassed for his friend since everyone was staring at him so he broke the ackward silence. "Uh....Jay how did you know that cat was with child?" Charles asked. He heard Dante breath again, then Dante went back to talking with Amaya in a quieter voice.
