Tulia was home. For a short while anyway. And, well, it felt good. It was rather liberating and she was able to hang out with her cousin, Mae all the time, which was actually pretty good. And the thing is? She didn't want to return to singing and touring. She didn't want that life anymore. Hell, she never wanted it. But she did it anyway. But this time, she was going to stand up for herself and say no.
"Sooo....." Mae said. "Ya gonna come to the dance? You should. Tons of guys are gonna be there. And you've been gone for a bit so they'll all wanna hang around you."
"Boycrazy." Tulia teased her.
"So?!" Mae said. "You need a boyfriend! Then Fred, me, you, and that guy can double date! And we can do couple stuff!"
"So this is all a part of your evil plan to have someone else to hang around that is also ina relationship?" Tulia asked.
"Duh." Mae said. She heard someone yelling. "Gotta go girl! See ya at dinner, Ma's having you and your Ma over!"
Mae ran off. Tulia laughed and waved goodbye to her insane cousin. She started off for home when she ran into someone.
"Omph. Sorry." She said.

Aiden was on his night time run. He had just started when he accidentally ran into someone.
"Sorry 'bout that." He said as blinked a couple times to make sure he wasn't imagining things.
"Tulia?! I can't believe it's you. Wow! Really long time no see." Then he remembered he just ran into her. "Are you ok? Are you hurt? Here come sit."
Aiden brought Tulia over to the closest bench. He was still really amazed to see her here. He couldn't help but smile though.

She laughed.
"I'm fine Aiden. It's nice to see you too." She said. "How are you? What brings you to these parts?"
She smiled. It'd been awhile since she had seen him.

"I've been good. I was just about to go on my night time run." Aiden told her. "Now why are you here? Lovely to see you not on stage or touring. Could it be your mother is actually giving you a, gasp, break?"
Aiden was trying to make light of her situation.

"I know! It's almost unheard of, but it happened." She said, with a smile. "I've been spending a lot of time with my cousin. How have you been?"

"I've been well. I've been at home a lot more recently. I wonder why. I should make a note to ask my father about that. Anyway, life's been pretty good. How long you staying?" Aiden was really happy.

"Thanks Aiden. I'm happy too. Now I can just figure out what I want to do for the rest of my life and stick with it." She said.
