Things kinda sucked at home now that Jadiza was gone, but their father seemed uncaring. Well, he probably didn't. He wished his sister a swift death, since that is sure what's awaiting her.
Then enitre family thought her already dead.
As Ragnar walked he remembered his sister, then thought on better tracks, but his thoughts lead him to running into another person in the village.
"Excuse me, I was not paying much attention."

"It is fine, Ragnor, son of Tor." Saga said, softly. Around men that were not her family, she knew her place was to remain quiet and agreeable. She knew her place. Did not mean she liked it. Half these people had very annoying opinions..

She was a tad bit surprised. Not many, if any, men would normally ask to go with her to get eggs. EGGS. It was as boring and as mundane as could be and besides, it was a woman's job to go get the eggs from the coop at the other end of town.
Most people had already gotten their eggs, so it would probably only be her in the coop, getting what's left.
But, what the hell?
"Sure." She said.
