He caught himself. He said those words a lot, but never out loud. Out loud, it made her absence more real.

Jay nodded.
"We know what you mean," Charlie muttered, not adding, and both of us are here. Jay still hadn't mentioned that May was missing to any one.
(I'm putting this before the Charlie/Delvin post, it would make sense with Charlie's thoughts...)
