Oh me, Oh my~.....~

[Kyran]

Kyran nodded.

"Do you want to know what happened?" she asked. Kyran would find out, but she wouldn't tell Ingrid if she didn't want to know. Kyran felt that she needed to help Ingrid though, she felt like her council would soon become, or already was like Ingrid's.

[Ingrid]

"I've always been torn." Ingrid admitted. "A part of me wants to know. But a huge part of me already hates her for leaving and I'm afraid that if I find out the reason, I'll hate her even more and she's my mother. I don't want to hate her. I just do. I can't help it."

[Kyran]

Kyran nodded.

"I've gotta habit of finding out things. If I find out something that wont make you hate her, do you want to hear it?" Kyran asked. It wasn't Kyran's fault her powers wandered....

[Ingrid]

"I suppose." Ingrid said.

The sun was almost to the ends of the land and the stars were coming out. The decision was going to be announced soon.

[Kyran]

Kyran nodded.

She tuned her ears towards the meeting. She looked at Ingrid, and gave her a small vote of confidence smile, "You should start over to meet them."

[Ingrid]

Ingrid hopped down from the roof and headed over to the cabin that housed the Council's deliberations. She met them just as they were leaving to find her.

"Oh, good, you're here." The Head Councilwoman said. "We've reached a decision. Your relationship with this boy is against our laws and as such you are a traitor to your people. You shall die a traitor's death once the expedition has returned. Until such time, you are to be held in the prison and wait for your execution. Take her away."

And that was how Ingrid was thrown into jail.

[Kyran]

Kyran snuck her way into the jail where Ingrid was being held.

She sat down next to the cell, appearing completely normal, and offered Ingrid a piece of cake, from a picnic basket she'd brought with her.

"The guard is a dumb idiot. A cute one, but still a dumb idiot."

[Ingrid]

"His name's Arn. He's probably about a year older than me, he's single, and he is pretty much just a rock for brains type of dude. But, I've heard from a few friends that he's definitely worth going for if you want a fling. Keep up your flirting child." Ingrid said, taking the cake. "How long is this gonna go on? I'd really rather just get it all over with."

[Kyran]

Kyran nodded, and considered, then through it out. She'd get killed. In her tribe, you are with your Husband and no one else. Ever.

"I'd give it three weeks to be honest."

[Ingrid]

Ingrid nodded and looked out the small window in the prison.

"Two if I'm lucky. But I'm never lucky."

[Kyran]

Kyran heard cries down below of that they'd come home. "They're back now." she said. "What would you like me to tell Kevin?"

[Ingrid]

'Whatever you find necessary. Wait till after the Council tells everyone. If I know my Council, and I do, right now they're giving a grand annoucement about how everyone's invited to stay until after my execution." Ingrid said.

[Kyran]

Kyran nodded.

"Yep I can hear it now," she said, listening.

[Kevin]

Kevin's heart broke as he listened to the council give their speech.

They were going to execute Ingrid.

No.

[Ingrid]

Yup.

Ingrid was told around the same time as the travelers were told. The date was set for the day after tomorrow.

Excellent. That would be some quick overturn. All she really needed to do was pass along a few messages to Jacopo and Swan and then she'd be good. She wished that she could see Kevin, but she was pretty sure that he wouldn't be allowed within ten feet of this building.
