Mountains ~Anyone~

[Mira]

Mira grabbed the bandages from one of the sacks rescued from the campsite, grabbed Smith and sat him down.

"I'm going to need to take your shirt off." She said, before she slid it off. She called out to the people who were checking one another for injuries in case they missed something. "Can I get some water over here?"

Someone ran a wetskin over and she poured water over Smith's wound, the look of which improved dramatically once all the excess blood and gunk was cleared away. She tore a square off of a cleaner part of her skirt and wet the patch, dabbing at the wound a little. She frowned.

"It's not bad, but I wish I had something to clean it out more thoroughly." She said. She finished washing the wound and unwound the bandages. She put an end over the top of the wound and prayed that the bandages, which weren't many, would be enough.

"Hold." She told him, before she began winding the bandage around his body.

[Smith]

He had to say, it was odd having a girl take off his shirt for him...in public.

Smith held still when instructed, and let his mind wander a little as she finished. When done he smiled at and thanked Mira.

[Mira]

She smiled back and helped him up.

"You're welcome Smith." She said.

[Smith]

He nodded.

"I think we've seen what we came for," he announced.

Kevin nodded, Smith having spoken his thoughts.

"Does anyone wish to continue?" Kevin asked.

[Mira]

Mira, personally, had no wish to continue. She shook her head. It looked like the bill was split though and she could see why. Some people might want to see where they came from and if they could find more. She didn't understand it though and she was ready to turn back. They had already been gone almost two weeks and it would be another two before they got back. Why waste any more time?

[Smith]

Kevin and Smith took note of the numbers.

"It appears we will be returning, by one vote. I don't think we could really find anything else out about these Giants," Kevin said.

Most agreed, some didn't but generally even if they did want to see more, they wanted to return to real beds, and food.

[Mira]

And so they headed off to return, talking about the Ice Giant at night and seeing if anyone had spotted weaknesses in the Giant or anything specific in how it acted, moved, etc etc that might be helpful.

So far, the answer was usually no. But people spent all day thinking, so sometimes something came up.

[Smith]

Kevin looked around, and went over to talk to Ralon.

"Do you know how to stoke a fire?" he asked.

Ralon raised a brow at him, and nodded. "Why?"

Kevin explained his idea to him, just like Ralon had helped the Earth Bender, Kevin thought other powers could work together.

[Mira]

Mira walked over to Smith.

"I'm going to need to take a look at your injury again." She answered. "Just to make sure it's not gained an infection."

[Smith]

Smith nodded and slipped off his shirt, watching Kevin and Ralon continue to work on Kevin's idea.

"Thank you," Smith said.

[Mira]

"Your welcome." Mira said, her fingers delicately unwrapping the bandage. She examined it gently, making sure not to poke it directly.

"It's good. Let me just rewrap it and you'll be ok. Just keep an eye on it and come and find me or someone else if it looks red and inflamed." She said.

[Smith]

Smith nodded.

"Got it," he said with a smile.

[Mira]

She smiled back and patted his fresh bandage.

"I should probably go check on some other people. They weren't really hurt, but ya know how people can exaggerate." She said.

She got up and walked over to someone who had twisted their ankle slightly a few hours ago and was no longer really in pain but was soaking it up.

[Kevin]

Kevin walked over to Smith, Ralon and him having a break.

"What is the matter with you? You're more witty than she is, but you're not acting like it. Serioulsy? No taking off your shirt joke or anything?" hKevin asked.

Smith shrugged.

Kevin gave him a look. "Smith?"

Smith looked at him. "What?"

"You know what." Kevin said.

Smith shrugged. "She kinda reminds me of Ira that's all."

"So you like her." Kevin said. "A lot."

Smith shrugged again.

Kevin sat down next to him and waited.

[Ole]

Ole frowned at his cousin who was currently in a rather serious conversation, from the looks of it, with an Earth Tribe Warrior.

He couldn't say he approved. Heck, it was safe to say that all he did was disapprove. But he wouldn't say anything yet. He'd wait till they got back and for this infatuation to be over and done with. Travelling together might have made her like him, but once she was safe and sound at home, she would realize that a Tree girl with an Earth boy was not a good idea at all.
