"I know, but hopefully you won't." he whispered.

~Kyran~

She nodded.

"It's just your armor...it has color...." Kyran said.

[Ingrid]

~Ingrid~
She nodded.

"I hope that too. I mean, I have grown rather fond of this place. It's never too hot and never too cold." She said, trying to joke.

~Mira~

"That one is probably because my Grandpa was all about scaring the enemy by doing odd and eccentric things." Mira said. "Most people don't expect armor to have color, so he probably figured that ours would."

[Kevin]

~Kevin~

He grinned at her attempt.

"And look at all these trees!" he said. "Like, whoa."

Yeah..His humor sucked.

~Kyran~

Kyran nodded.

"He got that right, the warriors came home after that and didn't stop talking about colors and stuff, it's weird to decribe... One guy just rants about it all the time." she said, shaking her head.

[Ingrid]

~Mira~
"Well, Grandpa, you succeeded. I hope you feel proud of yourself." Mira said, speaking to the long dead grandpa of hers. "I think my favorite armor piece belongs to my cousin Nat. It's a very bright pink."

~Ingrid~

She laughed, mostly because his attempt was so pathetic it was funny.

"Don't make fun of the trees. They've been known to kill before." Ingrid teased.

(ooc. Just gonna say this-Pink didn't become a girl color until a hundred years ago. I assume you knwo that, it's common knowledge and you're a pretty decently fantastically smart person. I'm just gonna put it out there that the same thing probably applies to Onoska. It's a girl color in FO and MA, but not so much in KoO.)

"Pink?" she asked. "What color is that?"

Her tribe having a predominantly blue and silver to it, didn't know much about color.. Infact, given their location not many other colors besides blue purple and white grew around anyway. Except green of course.

~Kevin~

Kevin looked apologetic, then looked at the nearest try and started apologizing profusely.

"Forgive me oh great an powerfull tree, I did not mean any insult, please do not fall on me and bash my head open..."

[Ingrid]

~Mira~

Mira held up her skirt and found a patch that was predominantly pink and showed it to Kyran.

"This is pink. Well, more specifically, it's light pink. There's different shades of pink and this is just one." Mira said.

~Ingrid~

She laughed and kissed him, with the type of passion that could only come from someone that honestly did not know how many of these she would have left.

"The trees won't hurt you as long as you stick with me." She said. "Other than that, I can make no promises."

[Kevin]

~Kyran~

Kyran looked at it.

"Oh," she said. "That's a pretty color."

~Kevin~

He nodded.

"I really hope they don't kill me..." he said. "It would probably sting a little..."

[Ingrid]

~Ingrid~

"Nah, they'll probably just behead me publicly." Ingrid said. "You're the son of the current Chief of your tribe, so unless they inform your Council and your Council takes offense to it, you're probably good."

That was really all she cared about, saving Kevin's neck.

~Mira~

She nodded and pulled out a swatch of bright green.

"This one is my favorite color." She said.

[Kevin]

~Kevin~

"Actually meant the trees themselves. They probably don't like me much... Ya know Squirrels hate me and all" he said, trying to cheer her up. He lifted her chin up to him. "And personally, I'd rather you not do."

~Kyran~

Kyran smiled

"That's really pretty!" she said. She pulled out a small flower from her purse, it was a little wilted but she'd picked it on her way over here. "This is mine." she pointed at one of the pale blue pettles, that shined a little in light, like little pieces of sliver.

[Ingrid]

~Ingrid~
"My only real concern is your neck, not mine." She answered, truthfully. She ran a hand through his hair. It was soft. That was a pretty good comment for hair.

Mira~

Mira smiled.

"It's beautiful." She said.

[Kevin]

~Kevin~

He leaned toward her and kissed her neck gently.

"And mine is yours." he told her.

~Kyran~

Kyran smiled at her.

She was at a loss for anything to say though.

[Ingrid]

~Ingrid~
She shook her head and kissed him.

"Worry about yourself before me." She said. "And that's an order. I'll be alright, no matter what happens."

~Mira~

So they could just sit there together in silence. That seems actually pretty good. Most friendships are built by ignoring each other while being in the same room as each other.

[Kevin]

~Kevin~

Kevin nodded, not promising a thing.

~Kyran~

Kyran loved the scenery. It was so beautiful.

[Ingrid]

Ingrid picked up on that and took his face in her hands and look at him.

"Kevin, you have to promise me this." She said. "Please. For the sake of my peace of mind, promise me that you're not going to worry about my neck and will only worry about your own."

[Kevin]

Kevin sighed.

"Ingrid, you know I can't promise that," he told her. He studied her face and leaned his forehead against hers. "I'll promise to try."
