Mira felt her father's hand on her shoulder.
"You're in the Fire Tribe, correct?" Her father asked Smith. "I couldn't help but over hear that you wanted to trek to the mountains. Many of my warriors are gone, but I've got a few that could be scrounged up to accompany you on this, as well as any one else of your choosing."
Her father bent down and whispered in her ear, something that only she could hear.
"I think you should make friends with the Air girl. She seems very much unlike her father."
Mira nodded in response to her father.

Smith nodded.
"Yes," he said. "My tribe can bring warriors, mostly we need a guide. I know it may not be best for you to spare warriors at the moment. It would be nice to have someone that was there at the time of the Avalanche to accompany. And if possible, I know my Cousin would like to speak to someone on the Ice Giants."
~Kyran~
Kyran was sitting on a bridge near the meeting place and going over what was told to her.
She was playing with a small tornado in her hand as she thought, the tornado following the trail of her thoughts, over her fingers down to her elbow, back to her palm...

Creon~
"I can supply you with a guide. My whole tribe is here and most of us know our way to the mountains and the way to our village is just a straight line Northeast, which most would be able to do. It would really just be a matter of finding the right person." He said. "Let's see, as far as people there at the time of the Avalanche, there are two groups. The people who were in the meadows and saw it happening. There's about five of them that made it out, out of the seven that were there. Mira, you met her, Daphne and Laurel, they're twins who refuse to be seperated, Danae, she's the youngest at thirteen, and Philip, who is the only male of the group. And the other set of people you could pick from would be the people who went into the mountains after wards and saw the Ice Giants and I can introduce you to them."
~ Mira~
Mira had slipped away quietly when her father and Smith started talking logistics and she went out in search of the Air girl. She found her sitting alone and she sat down next to her.
"I'm Mira." She said.
~Ingrid.
The two lovers were together again and definitely acting like it. This might be why they didn't notice the soft but heavy footsteps coming closer and the branch being lifted aside.
"Oh my, little sister, what are you doing?" Came the voice. It was light and conversational, but dripping with pure poison. Yngvarr.

~Smith~
He smiled.
"Any one would be fine by me, I would just like the accounts and perspective. Taking someone back to the place it happened helps with memory from what my Grandmother always told me." he said.
~Kyran~
She looked over surprised, her tornado disappearing.
"Oh, Hi, I'm Kyran." she said, finally registering that the girl had spoken to her.
~Kevin~
Kevin didn't know who the guy was, but he guessed this wasn't good, by the way Ingrid reacted. The couple had sprung apart in seconds.

~Ingrid~ Ingrid's face was one of pure terror, as it so rightfully should be. Her brother had only smiled and then walked away, after registering who it was that she was with. This was not good. This was not good at all. He was going to tell the Council and then she was going to be in such deep shit that it wasn't even funny. Or maybe it would be to people who weren't her, but that didn't matter. She tried to think of the last time the heir apparent was caught with someone who wasn't of their tribe. Well, it had never happened before, but she was pretty sure that if it had, it would end in death. Because there were really two things the heir apparent was supposed to do when it came to love and marriage. One was to marry whomever the council said to marry and most of the time this person was from an influential family, either inside or outside the tribe. And the other was to not get caught with someone the council wouldn't approve of. So yeah, she was in deep shit.
The couple had sprung apart fast, true, but it was apparent what they had been doing. And that was more than enough for Ingrid's brother. Ingrid leaned against the wall of one of the houses and slid down to the floor.
Shit.
~Creon~ Creon smiled.
"Your grandmother sounds like a wise woman. I will ask around of those who were there and see who is up for going." Creon said. "I can answer a few basic questions, of course, if you need to know anything now."
~Mira~
"It's nice to meet you." Mira said, her voice friendly. If her father thought this girl was good, then so did Mira.

~Kevin~
Kevin watched her have a panic attack as the person left, and when she sank down to the floor, he went to sit next to her. "Ingrid?" he whispered. "What's wrong? Who was he? Love, calm down."
He grabbed her hand.
~Smith~
Smith grinned, and hit his chest in salute.
"Thank you sir, It's very much appreciated." he said.
~Kyran~
She smiled.
"It's nice to meet you too." she said. "This place is an interesting one don't you think? Have you been here previously?" Kyran realized she was probably over constipating for her shyness.

~Creon~
Creon smiled and bowed slightly, the proper goodbye for someone you have only met once in his tribe.
"Well, my boy, I must attend to my wife." He said, noticing his wife motioning him over, probably to have him soothe a crying Naia. "I'll leave you to all the pretty girls."
He winked at the boy and walked over to his wife, who handed him his youngest daughter.
~Mira~
She shook her head.
"I've met the Tree Chief before, when I was much younger. He came to speak with father about something, but I never did know what it was about." Mira said. "But I've never really left my people's lands before. You?"
Mira was a somewhat shy person. When it was diplomatic talk, like with Smith earlier, it was fine. But when it was something personal and she needed to be herself and not the daughter of the Chief, she clammed up a little bit. But she was going to try, for her father and because, well, she kinda wanted to.
~Ingrid~
She calmed down enough to form a sentence.
"That was my brother. And it is not good that he found us. He's going to tell the Council and they already hate me. They'll take any excuse to get rid of me. Any at all." She said.

~Smith~
Smith went off to... well actually to plan out how to situate the refugees...
Not anything with girls....
~Kyran~
Kyran nodded.
"My grandmother took me to see the border lands, but other than that, This is my first time to another village." Kyran said. "Do you like being the Chief's daughter?"
~Kevin~
He nodded, unsure of what to do.
"What do we need to do?" he asked.

~Mira~ "It's...Interesting. I certainly have never wished that someone else was my father, but it's hard sometimes. I'm sure you know how it feels." Mira said, noting that if she was here and from the Air tribe that she was probably someone important or the child of someone important.
~Ingrid~
She looked at him, with terror in her eyes.
"There isn't anything we can do." She said. "At best, nothing happens to you. At worst, we're both dead."

~Kyran~
Kyran nodded. "It was the same for me when my father was alive. Now, being Chief, it's worse."
~Kevin~
He pulled her to him and hugged her tight.

Mira~
Mira put her hand on the girl's shoulder and squeezed. The gesture was usually reserved for more intimate friends in other tribes, but for her rather affectionate tribe, it was a gesture that could be used at any point in a relationship.
~Ingrid~
Ingrid held him back, her face buried in his chest, inhaling deeply. She wasn't quite sure how many of these moments she had left at this point. She needed to compose herself though, which she managed to do after a few minutes.
"I should head back." She said, softly. "I'll be missed soon."

~Kyran~
She was slightly shocked at the touch, but smiled, and nodded to the girl.
"What's your tribe like?"
~Kevin~
He smiled and kissed her.
"One more minute?" he asked.

(ooc. Too...many.....K names....)
~Mira~
"We're..very warm." She said. "We're a very affectionate, loving people and it's hard not to go a day without physical contact of some kind. It's nice though. No matter what you do, you always know that your people are behind you and that they love you."
~Ingrid~
She smiled a bit and put her hand on his cheek.
"You can have all the minutes you want." She said, a sentence that under other circumstances could have sounded saucy or flirty, but under these just sounded sad.

(ooc. Whoops?)
~Kyran~
Kyran smiled.
"That sounds so different. Good, but different. This might sound odd...but, do you all always look so...bright? I mean your people like the colors."
~Kevin~
Kevin smiled at her and pulled her to him, knowing this wouldn't happen too much. They'd have to be distant... He kissed the top of her head.
"You know you always have refuge with me," he said.

~Ingrid~ She moved closer to him, so close that she and him were pretty much just one entity. She closed her eyes for the moment.
"I may have to take you up on that offer sometime." She replied.
~Mira~ She laughed.
"Yeah, we do like colors. We're always this bright, unless it's like the darkest days of winter. Then we're so bundled up that you can't see what our clothes' colors are." She said.
