Ingrid had been up first and had found some eggs in a nearby nest that she was cooking up.
"It's weird and you two know it. How do you like your eggs?"

"Weird don't cover it." Smith said with a shudder.
"Aw, come on love, Just admit it," Kevin said. "Scrambled?"
Smith shuddered again.

She scrambled one of the eggs and they quickly finished cooking.
"Ok loverboys. I sorta got an itchin' to get home and beg for a puppy, so eat up." She said, pointing to the finished eggs. "Pick one and I swear Kevin, if you don't pick the scrambled one I'm strangling you, and eat up."

Kevin rolled his eyes and ate quickly.
Smith was done a couple seconds after him, and they packed up what little they unpacked quickly.
"Let's get outta here."

They walked and they walked and they walked some more until they reached what she could officially recognize as her territory, what with all her friends wandering around and fighting about squirrels.
This was serious. These were squirrels.
She turned to Kevin and Smith.
"I..um...should probably head to my Council and tell them all the stuff I learned." She said. "Thanks for going with me. I really appreciated it."
