"Incredibly so. Adorable beyond all words. I almost felt sad." Elly said. "But it had to be done. It was just too cute to live." She giggled alittle. "Actually, it had rabies." She said. "I don't kill dogs for no reason. I do that to cats and bears." (ooc. puppy: 30.media.tumblr.com/HesEVMWRfderwdfg0yJzemhb_500.jpg)

Charles frowned a bit.
"Cute dogs shouldn't get rabies." he stated.

"Well, it did. And I had to kill it, because your kid didn't wanna harm it." She said. "It's all May's fault that it had rabies anyway. She let it get attacked by the rabid squirrel of doom."

Charles smiled.
"Typical Forrest girl." he said. "Never want to kill anything in the forest. Guess it comes with the name, huh?"

"Damn all the Forrest girls." Elly said. "Causing nothing but trouble for us Smith girls."

Charles laughed.
"Of course. What else would they do? It is two generations of best friends, after all." he said. "Two generation's of trouble makers, giving quite an new meaning to partners in crime."

"Oh yes." Elly said. "I do believe the correct term is double the crime, double the avoidance of time."

Charlie grinned.
"That would decribe it, very well. You wouldn't believe some of the trouble your mom and aunt got in to..." he trailed off.

"I think I can..." Elly said. "I have access to criminal records, people who knew them, witness statements, intuition, plus Mom used to get real chatty when she got drunk."

Charlie chuclked.
"Some how I doubt she told you some of the worse stunts. But you could probably guess at them if you tried." he said.

"Somehow, I doubt I want to know." Elly said. "Just a wild guess, but I think my innocent ears probably shouldn't be hearing of their adventures."

"No, button. Your ears are still a little to sensitive for some of their stories." Charles said, with a slight smirk.

"Glad to see Uncle Charlie will protect me from them." She said, rolling her eyes and laughing.

Charlie laughed a long with his niece.
The song ended and he kissed her on the head.
"Of course, some one has got to keep them safe." he said, bowing.
