Sonja was working on flower arrangements at the counter. Daisies go here, roses there. Perfect. She hadn't been there long, but she was happy there. Plus she got to see Saffron, who was like her big sister.
The bell rang and she looked up.

Jai walked in to pick up some flowers for his sister- she loved the things. Or if she didn't like them- she's had a few years to figure it out. She hadn't complained yet. So he got her flowers every year for her birthday. Different kind every year.
"Hello?" he asked, expecting Saffron.

She smiled and made up the bouquet for him.
"Here ya go." She said, handing it to him. "That'll be 12."

Jai took out the money, and handed it to her in exchange for the bouquet.
"Thanks," he said, and headed to the door. "It was nice meeting you Sojna."
