James laughed, his new nick-name was sorta funny.
"My siblings, a? There a little over protective. Ever since I was a kid and I tripped over my Dad's sword while practicing with my brother. I was fine just a little cut on my leg. I still have the scar...but you didn't need to know that. Anyway ever since then they started thinking a month is a long time, and I'm this little kid that needs protection 'cause I can't fight. But I don't need strength, I've got wits. That has to count for something. So yeah their over protective but cool. Exept for when they want to butt into my personal buisness. So yeah, tell me a bit about you and your friends and or siblings."

Amy laughed a little and sobered up. Well, that question was sure to come at some point.
"I'm an orphan." She said. "I was raised in the Kyyra City Church's Orphanage, by the nun that ran it. One of the older boys there became like my older "brother". His name is Harper. He's in the army right now."
She played with her cross, like always. She played with it when she was bored, tired, nervous, excited, calm, happy, sad. Everything. It was her talisman.
"ß îäèí â ìèðå" She said.

(ooc. your other language words didn't come out.)
"Yeah. I used to have a friend like that. She was like a better sister than my other one. She died though...but life goes on..." James started playing with his shoe again. "You know when someone dies you always wish time had stood still. So you could be with that person forever. But you can't. And sadly life goes on. It's sad but then someone else will come along and love you as much as the last person did. The loving circle of life."

(i am alone...google! you betrayed me! she speaks russian as another language, though she is norweigan on her mother's side..looking back, I must have copied the wrong thing. it isn't what was supposed to show up)
"I never really got that. I...well..I never took to change well. And I still don't. It's probably why I have trouble accepting life for what it truly is." Amy said. "Hell, I have trouble accepting my own name."
Amy sighed.
"I wish time had stood still. Maybe then my mother would have thought everything through and not given me up." Amy said.

"Everyone has problems with change. But you deal with those problems." James smiles at Amy.
"You know your mother might not of had a choice. She might of wanted to keep you but you'd of been better not kept. I don't know her circumstances but how about you just asume this was because she loved you." James smiled bigger. He wasn't sure if he was very good a comforting.

Amy leaned against him.
"Thanks." She said. "Òû õîðîøèé ñëóøàòåëü."
She nervously played with her necklace.
"My real name isn't Amy, you know." She said.

"Your welcome." James said, there was nothing to thank him for but he'd take it.
"That's ok I'm good with calling you anything. But now you have me curious, what is your real name?"

"Sonja. Sonja Amber. I like my middle name better, hence my nickname of Amy." She said. "I'm sure you have a nickname too. But I like my nickname for you better, James of the Trees."

"No I've never had a nick name. Sonja Amber. I like it, it's pretty. And I like my nicky nick name for you, Amy of the Meadow." James said, he was getting a little corny but it didn't really matter.

She laughed at it's corniness. But she liked it.
"Thanks." She said. "It was the name Sister Annamae gave me. Said that my given name wasn't good enough. But I always like my middle name better anyway. So yes, I am Amy of the Meadow. And you never had a nickname? Not even Jim or something? Gosh! It's a good thing I gave you one then!"

"It is a nice name." James laughed, "Yes it is a good thing. Or else I would have been nick name less for life. That would be sad."

"It would be. Or someone would have come along and given you an even worse nickname." She said, shuddering. "Now that would be scary."
She smiled.
"I like your name though. James is a nice name." She said.

"You're right that would be." James said smiling, "And thank you. My father named me. My mother puts it down as a mistake she will never let happen again. I don't know why. I mean Jake, James not that similiar...ok well maybe they are...but who really cares?"

"I dont' get it either. I like James. It's a nice name and it's not too out there, like Smitty WeberJagarmanjensen. Of course, he was number one." Amy said. "And it's your name. Nobody's opinion counts. It only matters if you like it."
