Sonja was in the marketplace, doing her shopping for the week. Gotta eat something. Preferrably something that was uncookable, but hey, Saffron could always just come over and help out if Sonja begged enough.
She was reading her list and walking, so it was only natural she would bump into someone.
"Omph! Oh! Sorry!" She said.

"No, my bad." he said, then looked at who it was. "Hi, Sonja!"

"Grocery shopping." She said. She tore a piece of paper off of her list and used her pencil to write a note that she put in his hand.

"I live in an apartment building." She said. "So it's not like there's much open flames going on. I'm allowed near candles though."
