(ooc. as promised, the backstory to this site.)
The Imperial Side- The Kingdom of Onoska has always had a few problems with crime. However, until about 50 years ago, they had always been able to stop crime. However around that 50 year mark, a new group popped up. Known as the Crescents, they are kind of a "Guild" of thieves and murders. In these troubled times, it's hard to say who you can trust, and who you can't. But Captain Smith, Lord Monty, and King Socrates himself are all trying to stop more crimes.
The Crescent Side- The Crescents are a group of the underdogs of society. They formed the group to help each other out. Their base is in Maragarite Capp's basement. It serves a sanctuary from the law, a place to live, and a place to train. The people in the group are theives and murders, as well as other criminals, but they live to a certain degree of honor. If such a thing is possible for that type of people. Despite what they are, they are good people. Possibly.
The Woodland Settlers- A group of people completely seperate from the fight between Imperials and Crescents, they lived in forested areas in seclusion. They are a friendly people, and love visitors. They do wander into a town sometimes, but they tend to keep to themselves unless addressed by someone else. They know the forest and the caves better than anyone else.
Rasselians- The people of Rassel. In the second plot they invade Onoska.
Assasins of the Mark- A mysterious and ancient cult, even older than the Crescents. When a child is recruited, their parents are killed by the current teacher and they are taken in. The teacher raises them as their own, sometimes teaching up to 40 children at a time. They kill those who they are told to kill and don't doubt it for a second. They are ruthless and dangerous. They blend into society, mainly living in AlMaught.
