In a small town, near Miska, but not too far from Onoska either, there was a girl in a tree. She had climbed said tree because she wanted to get away from it all. The arranged boyfriend of hers that she liked, but not in that way, her annoying friends that she loved to death but needed a break from and Delvin, the annoying bastard who showed no signs of leaving.
She sighed. It was a full moon and her branch on the tree made it so that she could see it. She was sitting with her back against the log and her feet curled up against her knees and her long hair loose. She had noticed once again how skinny she had become. It didn't look healthy. It wasn't healthy. But she couldn't stop herself. It was the one thing she had control over. And it was barely any control at all. She didn't hear someone climb the tree and she barely noticed the tree's movement with that person climbing it. She was too wrapped up in her thoughts and was humming to herself.

Delvin had climbed up in the tree. He sat a couple branches away from her.
"Penny for your thoughts?" he asked.

She heard Delvin's voice and in spite of herself smiled.
"Probably would have given them away for free, but now that you've offered me a penny, well gosh, I'm not going to say anything until you cough up." She said, teasingly. "Besides, it's nothing important."

"Aw, don't put yourself down like that. If it is worth thinking about, it must be of some importance." Delvin said. He got out a penny and tossed it over to her. "There you go."

"I'm going to go away for awhile. Father's decided I should go spend sometime with an aunt in another part of the country. Apparently, I'm going to learn to be a lady." She said.

"I wish your aunt luck with that." Delvin said, with a smirk. "I'm leaving tomorrow. You don't want me here, and I forgot to leave a note. I don't really know why I've been hanging around."

She nodded.
"It's not just you, you know. I pretty much wish the entire rest of the world was gone and I was alone, for once in my life." She said.

Delvin nodded.
"Maybe the change of scenery will give you that." Delvin said. "Is there any reason why you want to be alone?"

"I've been around people who want to dictate my entire life as long as I've been alive. Is it such a crime for me to want to be alone for once?" She asked.

"No, there is a time when everyone wants to be alone." Delvin said.

"Oh, so glad to know I'm not alone." She said, sarcastically. "What brings you up here?"

"Just wanted to tell you I was leaving. I thought it would be better than dissappering tomorrow. I'll be going before the sun comes up." Delvin said.

"You know, you never did tell me where you were staying." She said. "All I remember you saying on the subject is that you didn't want to stay with me."

"I'm staying at different places. Mostly at Joey's." Delvin said.

"Oh no. I fear for your sanity. Has one of his six younger sisters gotten to you yet? Because I know that Lola has been wanting someone to play tea party with her. She is six after all. And the others are all just like her, only with different games." She said.
(ooc. the oldest sister would be 10. this means tons of dress up the new person time!)
