Daring~Open~

"Coral Lane Inn." Essa said. "The owner is sweet and the inn itself isn't too shabby."

[Sonja Amber]

"Oh! I've been there a few times!" She said. "I'll think about it, but I'm hoping to get a job somewhere closer to the low-rent area."

[essa]

Essa nodded. "Ahh, I wish you luck. There are jobs around the city in a few places." she said. "You can always find work some where."

[Sonja Amber]

She shrugged.

"Yeah, but much of the work is inappropriate for someone my age." She said. "I shouldn't be working in a bar, for example."

[essa]

Essa nodded assent. "Yes that is true, I'm sure you can find something age appropriate." she said. "I sound very hopeful... But i guess i am. For you finding a job at least..."

[Sonja Amber]

She rolled her eyes.

"Optimist. In the past year, I've gone through five jobs. That's about how many jobs I've gone through per year for the past three years." She said. "So I'm rather low on my optimism right now."

Essa half frowned.

"That would degrade anyone's optimism." she said. "Maybe you'll get lucky. Never know.

[Sonja Amber]

"I do. I won't." She said. "And who knows? Maybe I could start my own business."

[essa]

"You should at least try it." Essa said. "What kind of business? A store? A bar? An inn?"

[Sonja Amber]

"I can't cook much and I suck at major cleaning, so probably selling something. Not flowers. I don't like flowers." She said.

[essa]

Essa thought. "How about a book store? Do you like books?" she asked.

[Sonja Amber]

"I can't read." She said, simply. "It's an odd thing. I can speak portugese, do math well, and many other things, but I can neither read nor write. So if I were to open a store, probably something else."

[essa]

Essa nodded.

"Are you good at crafts? Like jewelry?" she asked.

[Sonja Amber]

"No." She said. "No not really. I'm not an artsy person."

[essa]

Essa frowned.

"I'm out of ideas." she admitted.
