"Well, Aeron, Rast, and Elly are like brother and sister to me but most of the others are just people i know." May said then she looked at Phyre's face. "They aren't bad people you know. They're just different. Their jobs aren't all that different from soldiers. Trust me they don't really enjoy their job but it is mostly what they do." May told him.

Phyre was reassured a bit by what she said. "Oh, I just heard kill people and natural instincts." May smiled and nodded. "Come on, I'll show you the river that is near here." Phyre said grabbing her hand and dragging her into a run.

May understood. She had grown up knowing the Crescents it made sense. Phyre obviously didn't really believe in violence. He wasn't raised to.
May was super aware of the fact that Phyre was holding her hand. She was also aware that he was in as good of physical shape as she was. They got to the river in about five minutes the trek wasn't all that hard or long. The river looked beautiful. It was perfectly clear and you could see some fish in it.

Phyre was glad to see that May liked the river. She hadn't said a word about it but her face seemed to be lit up. He pulled her closer to the river near some big rocks that they could sit on. He realized he still was holding her hand-- but she hadn't let go yet. The thought made him smile. "What do you think?" Phyre asked her.

May sat down next to Phyre on one of the rocks. "It is really pretty." She told him. "It is a lot better than the rivers I find. Unless you look at the caves. They have some of the prettiest water falls." May said. "You seem in really good shape." She commented.

Phyre nodded. "Cave water falls that sounds awesome." Phyre said. "I'm in okay shape. Most people around here are. You don't seem in too bad of shape either." Phyre said.

"Really? Most of the people I know can't run worth anything." May told him. "The only one that can keep up with me out of my friends is to lazy to try." May said thinking of Elly and Aeron. Elly could keep up when she wanted to and Aeron never even tried.

"Yeah, none of the kids around here are out of shape. They all are pretty well fit. I'm a blacksmith so i have to stay in shape or i won't be able to keep up my job." Phyre told her. "Whats your job?"

"I'm a woods guide. My mom has been training me for it since i was about three. I love it. I haven't done many jobs yet but mom has been putting me on tougher jobs lately." She told Phyre. he was cool. Easy to talk to and he seemed pretty genuine.

"There isn't much need for guides around here. Everyone seems to know the terrian. I wanted to be a guide when I was younger. Your mom was actually one of my heroes..." Phyre said nervously. "But I started as the blacksmiths assitant and fell in love with the job."

"Thats a lot like me and being a guide. I wanted to join the Imperial Guard when i was younger. Them my mother took me on one of her jobs. I fell in love with the forest and the job." May told him. "Granted love of the forest is kinda in my blood." She paused. She wanted to learn more about him. "When did you start at the blacksmith?"

Phyre smiled. He loved this story. "When i was about 7 i got away from my mom and I some how ended up at the smithy. Mark, the blacksmith, kept me there till my mom came and found me. The way Mark tells it i was there for over an hour watching him work until I asked if i could help. After that I went back every time my mom took me to the market. Once i was 10 I already knew how to do most of the things an apprentice would so all the paper work did was make it official." Phyre said.

May smiled. It was a cute story. "Mark seemed nice. Is he a good guy to be apprenticed to?" May asked wanting Phyre to talk more.

"Yeah, he is awesome. Sometimes I have to put in extremely long hours but it is all worth it. Mark does a good job of keeping me on task and making the job fun. There has been a couple of times when we were working late that we started singing random songs. It is fun." Phyre said. It was really easy to talk to May. She didn't seem the type to judge easily. She probably did think he was a little bit naive.

"That sounds amazing. Usually I just have to deal with annoying customers... There was this one guy that had to stop every 15 to 30 minutes to take a breather his first trip. Every week after that for a year he wanted a guide through the woods. My mom made me take him by my self after the 5th week. He was a really silent guy so he wasn't much of company. By the end of the year he was able to make the treck in maybe an hour. I don't think he realized guide didn't mean personal trainer." May told him.
