"Yeah...." Lily said, sighing. "I wish it wasn't like that sometimes. That we could all just go back to when we weren't working. To when we could just hang out all the time and have fun. Maybe I'm just naive in thinking that though. We all have to grow up eventually. I just can't help wishing things would stay the same though."

Gabe nodded. "Of course I'm right," he said.
Saffron came up to the 'couple' with their food. "Here you go, Soleil et Lune. Do you need anything else?"

Lily, knowing what it meant, given May's languages, blushed. Sun and Moon. Since when did she and Gabe have combined nicknames?
"Thanks." She said, stammering. Saffron smiled knowingly and skipped away. "Uhhh..Here you go."
She passed Gabe his stuff. They ate in silence for a few moments, until Lily spilled her salad on her lap.
"Oh. Gosh." She said, embarrased.

Gabe watched as Lily spilled salad on her lap. He grabbed a few napkins. "Lily are you okay?" He said getting up and going on the other side of the table.

"Yeah. I'm fine." Lily said, looking up. They were about three inches apart and staring each other in the eyes.

Gabe noticed the distance between him and Lily, as well as the intensity of the gaze. He wanted to kiss her in that instance. 'Emma' Gabe thought. He didn't want to be his brother.
He looked at Lily for a couple more seconds then looked away.
"Thats good. Are you sure?" Gabe asked still not looking directly at her eyes.

Lily saw that he wouldn't look her in the eye and it hurt. Alot.

Gabe went back to his seat. He saw that Lily looked hurt and he frowned. "Do you want to order another salad?" he asked.
