(ooc. on the off chance someone besides me is reading this, it's about a day before the fight)
Koi and Tom were in the schoolhouse. She had wanted to go, and he didn't refuse her. She held his hand, like always.
"Remember our first fight? It was right here in this room." She said.

"Yeah. You insisted that I go with you to that stupid ball thing Maisha was throwing. I refused of course. I had better things to do than dress up in a stupid outfit and dance around." Tom said, closing his eyes. She had looked beautiful in that dress. It was dark green, his favorite color. They were only friends then, but that was the day they fell in love.

"I seem to recall you having a good time at said ball, my love. Didn't you just ask about that dress yesterday? I still fit in it you know." She said, smiling.

"Ahhh, not for long, love. Not for long." Tom said. "I do believe that this place has an even more important memory that the ball. I proposed to you here."
He took her other hand and stroked the finger with her ring on it.

"I remember." She said softly. "It was the day before the final exam. You said that if something happened, you wanted to ask me. I broke down crying, and said yes, of course. Think of where we are now."
She thought back to that day. He had come in running as she was finishing up helping Maisha teach the five year olds. He didn't say a word, he just dropped to his knee and said that if he didn't ask her now, he may never get another chance. She started crying and told him yes. Maisha was so thrilled, and she began planning their wedding instantly. Maisha....she was basically the entire reason they were together, and tomorrow, she would die by either her or Dody's hand. She secretly hoped Tom would show, but she didn't want to bother him from his work. She hadn't told him about the fight yet anyway.

"I'd marry you again in a second. This time, though, we should probably invite more people than what who we did." Tom said. "I love you Kyoko."
Their life was going to change soon. He knew about the fight, he wasn't an idiot, and Maisha had told him that she was fighting Dody earlier. He knew that Koi was probably in it somehow. He agreed with Koi on Maisha's postion, but he didn't know what to do about it. But apparently Koi did, so he'd just go with her.
