Dody was way over her head, beatween running her shop and being a medic for the crescents, she barley had time to do anything else. Although buisness was pretty slow, since the war started, she still had to keep it open to pay the bills. 'Im being counted on, I cant let anyone down!' She thought every time she looked at the bills and her bank statement. She sighed there was war going on and she was in the best part of it. It somehow made her feel guilty, or was it just tiredness. She didnt know and she couldnt tell, she hadnt slept since her first patient came in, wich was the day the war started she guessed. Covered in blood and stabbed wounds, one was so close to the heart he was lucky it didnt hit the heart. She saved him, but when she tryed to sleep she had nightmares. With so many patience after that, she had no sleep and everytime she tried she would wake up screaming and sweating. She hopped all her friends were ok, Amaya, Jaysn, Charles, Dante, Abigail, Edmond, Serena. Most of the time she could push them out her mind, but sometimes it would just slip. Today it was a normalish day,well as normal as a war day can get, but when the clock struck noon.......
(ooc. ok so i really want something exiting to happen but i dont know what.......so post wat happens next thnxyz!! ^-^)

"Dody! I need your help!" Sonja said, rushing in. She knew that Dody was the medic, and she had even been at the Tea Shop a couple of times, while she and Lucien were on dates. It was best to pick nonobvious places, in case her parents came into town looking for her.
Sonja need Dody's help because she knew something was wrong with her. She would have gone to Jaysn, because Jaysn lived closer, but she didn't want to go to a place where her parents could possibly follow her and eavesdrop on what she had to say.
She found Dody at the counter.

Dody put down what she was doing and looked up "Whats wrong?" she said inquisitively. Dody starred her in the eyes hoping nothing was to bad. Hoping what ever it was she could help.

"That's the problem, I don't know. I've been throwing up alot, I've been having problems sleeping, I've been craving the oddest types of foods, and I've just been feeling odd. I know that you're more of a wound doctor, but I came to you, since my parents wouldn't follow me here. I hope." Sonja said.

Dody laughs "You should be fine, and by the way CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!! Your pregnant!! Oh im so happy for you!! What are you going to name her or him? Oh well maybe its to soon but CONGRATS!!!!!!!!" Dody was just glowing. She was soooo happy for Sonja. "and by the way i am not just a wound doctor, although i specialize in wounds, i can am all sorts of different medics." Dody didnt really care though she was really happy.

Jay walked into the shop as Dody's voice was shouting "Congrats". She walked up to the counter and asked, "Who's pregnate?"

Sonja just kinda rose her hand when Jaysn walked in. She stood in disbelief. It did make sense though. She and Luke had been going out for almost two years now, and they had only been apart for 2 1/2 months. So, the math does kinda add up.
"I....think...I am." Sonja said, for once in her life, at a loss for words.

"Wow! Really? How long have you been missing periods Sonja?" Jay asked. She wasn't as excited as Dody because of all of the things she knew Sonja would have to deal with but she was still pretty happy for her friend.

"uh...Sonja its ok. Youll be fine, pregnancy usually isnt that big a deal. Usually you get pregnant take a few herbs along the way to keep the baby healthy then you have the baby and live happily ever after with him or her and your husband. Er well in your case boyfriend."

"Yeah, I know. It's just that....my parents. You know my boyfriend, he's a great guy, but he doesn't want to betray my parents and get married without their blessing. He's kinda traditional. My parents wouldn't let me marry him, no matter the circumstance. I guess it'll be ok though. I have someone to raise as a fellow prankster." Sonja said, cradling her stomach.

Jay looked at Sonja. Sonja looked kind of lost. "You're going to be okay Sonja. But I'm not sure I'm all for the new prankster running around the settlement but what else do I expect from your kid?" Jay smiled. It was a lame attempt at cheering up. "We'll help you out how ever we can."

Dody rubs her arm "It'll be ok. If you ever need help you know where to find me. Its ok to not marry him you could just live together and make it seem like your married. Strange idea i know but i doubt youll have time to have a baby, convince your parents to let you marry the guy you love, and plan a wedding i mean you might but i doubt it. Probably the best idea right now is to stay close to a friend so you can lean on them. Its going to be hard but ill bet it will be rewarding to." Dody had no past experience with pregnancy but she loved kids, possibly a little to much. Any time a little kid would walk into her shop it would make her day. "Friends right now is probably the most important thing."

Edmond walks in and goes over to Dody. He sees there faces so he kiss her cheek. "Ill be upstairs if you need me." and with that he is gone.

Once it really sunk in, Sonja began to get excited. It wasn't as if this was a bad thing. It was a good thing, no, an excellent thing. She could teach them to climb trees and pull pranks and all the other stuff she does well. She couldn't wait to tell Abby!
She gave out a joyful squeal and pulled Jaysn and Dody into a hug.
"I'm going to have a baby!" She said, joyfully.
