"How would I know? You girls never make sense. I can never tell. Besides we haven't talked much since... anyway. Yeah I know her." James said.

"She's very nice and kind. She's funny and smiles a lot. There really is never a dull moment with her." James starts to smile really wide. Then he realizes what he's doing and stops. "Anyway, yeah she's cool."

"I don't know what you're talking about." James said hiding his face which would clearly give away the fact he's lying.

"James." Elly siad. "You do realize that I"m trained to spot liars. You, first off, suck at lying. Secondly, even if you didn't, I would still be able to tell. Trained to spot them, remember? Don't lie to me."

James shrugs.
"So go use your super powers where they matter. I don't care what you think I will never reveal it even if you can tell I'm lying."

"It's quite simple James." She said. "You like her, but won't tell her, so I'm going to go tell her. Unless you don't like her. In which case, speak up."

"Is going home an option? Just avoiding your question, ignore it and leave. Can that be an option? Can it be an option if I say please? Please." James said. He sighs as he realizes she would never go for it.
"Can I tell her myself when I'm ready, please?" He says with a bit of a sad look. "I know I'm not really the type of guy anyone would look for, but I am really cool. When you get to know me. When I'm around her I feel comfortable like I can say anything and she'll still like me for it. There haven't or aren't many people like that. I plan on asking her out, I just don't know when or how. She's the first girl I've ever liked."

"Your answer moves me. I will consider it." She said. "In the meantime, I think you should learn how to make poisons. It'll make you more badass. People love badassery. Especially girls. I would know. I am one."

"Thank you." James said as he stopped looking so sad.
"Poison? THAT STUFF KILLS PEOPLE!! YOU SHOULD NEVER ASSOCIATE WITH IT!!" James looks shocked at Elly to even mention it. "Besides that your a very um... to put it politely... special... maybe different would work better, girl. So I mean I don't really want to learn how to make poison to get a girl. She should like me for being me, I shouldn't have to act for her and not be me."
James thought he really should try to be more normal. Speeches definitely were not normal, he would need to remember to give them less... even if his speeches aren't long... at all.

"Well, firstly, half my job involves poisons." Elly said. "Secondly, so? Even if she does like you for you, poisons are still a useful skill to have. Kills rats."

"I refuse to learn anything about poison. No if, ands, or buts, and you can't make me. So now if we have nothing else to talk about I guess I should be leaving." James said as he got up to leave.
