~ALL~ I'm ADOPTING!!

[Dody]

"I am so not old. I have to much spirit to be! Bwahaha! Now. I'm adopting a baby, and yes I'm also pregnant. Any other problems? You can come with us to help or not. Your choice." Dody said to her kids, as she and Jake were about to walk out the door.

She was seven months pregnant. Her kids were saying she was to old to have any more babies and that she shouldn't adopt, let alone be pregnant!

Of course Dody was to young at heart, I mean really thirty five ain't that old. So she ignored them and did what she wanted anyway. She kept saying to them, like it was a threat, "I will raise these two right!" Of course everyone new she was to stubborn to change her parenting methods, therefore they would turn out the same.

Then it was decided. They would all, as a family (gasp!), go out and choose the child, whether this was dictated or unanimous is of no importance. They got to the orphanage part of the church where they were greeted by Sister Annamae Johnson.

"Hello sister. I'm here to adopt a baby. I'm Dody and this is my family, Jake, Aiden, Florence, and James." Dody said all smiles.

Last time Dody had been to this part of the church was when she was pregnant with her triplets. She was so freaked she had actually that about orphaning them. Very stupid idea. Whenever Dody thinks of it now the practically kicks herself.

[Sister Annamae Johnson]

"Follow me then, my children." She said, leading them into the children's playroom. "I've raised most of these children with the help of fellow nuns for about 18 years now, ever since the war left so many orphans. I'm very proud of all of them. Why, one of my first ones is about to become a doctor!"

She paused for a second to catch her breath. Age had caught up with her, well, it had caught up with her years ago really, but still.

"Why don't you go play with them and find the ones you think would fit your family the best?" She said to them. "If you need to know anything, I'll be walking around."

[Dody]

Dody smiled and nodded her head. "Thank you Sister."

She walked around smiling at all the babies. They were so cute! She wished she could adopt them all. She stopped at one baby and took a little while to look at her.

The baby had violet eyes, and you could see that she would have golden blond hair. Dody motioned for her husband to come over.

"I want to adopt her. Pandora." Dody says with a really big smile. Her kids decided to come over and look. Ren softly patted her hair.

"Mom I'm going to go look for Sister Annamae Johnson about adoption papers. 'Kay?" Ren asked her mother.

Dody nodded. "Thank you."

Ren left, a couple minutes later she was back with the Sister.

(ooc. it's ok! the book will mainly be on teh first plot, with a sort of epilogue that kinda touches on this right now. and if i ever get around to it, there might be a sequel. right now, we have plots in mind for a good while (if we keep up how we're going, we'll be playing Ama's and Dody's grandkids and greatgrandkids.....I even have her granddaughter planned out! whether or not that becomes a plot is another story...), but whether or not they will be written out in a book is another story.)

Sister Johnson smiled.

"I see you found your ideal child." She said. "It's a good thing, what you are doing, giving a child that has no where else to go a good home. Follow me, there is some paperwork that you need to fill out for our records and of course, gathering anything that might have been left with her."

She led them to her office. There still weren't many children, so she could remember if there was anything left with the child that belong to her.

[Dody]

"Yes. Yes we did." Dody replied. "I would adopt all the children if I could, but my family would kill me if I tried."

Dody and family followed Sister Annamae Johnson to her office. Florence stopped at the toddler section.

"Hey mom, I'm going to step inside a moment. Be right back." Ren said as she walked in the door.

Dody blinked a couple times. "Alrighty then."

They got to the office and started filling out paper work.

"Does she have any belongings?" Dody asked continuing to fill out the papers.

(ooc. At this point, anything is cool with me. We're travelling uncharted pretty much. Oh, I have ideas for plots and such and yes, we stick to those somewhat [we try...], but we're swimming in uncharted waters and if you wanna have flo go on a killing rampage and slaughter an entire town, it's good with me. So do whatever side story you wanna do. Because I <3 Flo.)

Sister Johnson nodded.

"Besides the obvious things like her blanket and her bottle, she was left with a necklace." She said. She went over to a small box, where she kept such things until the child was adopted or was old enough to take care of it themselves. She got it out and handed it to the woman.

"Here it is." She said. "I have to ask if you can come back in a few days. We'll have a few things to give you then."

(ooc. Yaay! though i doubt ill have her go on a killing spree i am going to have something else happen... aww~ thank you i <3 Elly. :3 btw do u want to choose the necklace? Or will I? Or will u? Ooooooor?)

Dody took the necklace. "Thank you. By any chance do you know why it was left with her? Just curious that's all."

Dody nodded. "A few days. So like two days? Or would more time be better? Exactly what day do you want us back?"

"Two to three days." She said. "Whichever you can make it on. As for the necklace, the mother probably wanted her child to have a piece of her. She might use it to track her down, I've heard of such things. But the main reason was probably like I said. To keep a piece of her with her daughter. It's hard to give up your child. I can't imagine it, but I've seen the looks on the faces of those women when they do it."

She sighed.

"Most children that are abandoned young will get a good home, we don't actually have many children here. Most orphans are sent to relatives if any are found. Some may end up on the streets and we try to prevent it, but we can't always. I've only raised four children from infanthood to adulthood. Two ran away. One grew up, and the other is still here, but as a volunteer now." She said. "Anyways, come back in two to three days for everything. You can take her home now, if you want. Some parents dont' always have all the equipment, but I see that you have older children and probably do. And, God forbid this happen, but if someone comes looking for her, I will tell you. It does happen."

She stood up and shook their hands.

"Good luck with Pandora."

[Dody]

"Sounds good. Two or three days. Thank you." Dody said. "I can't say I can't imagine it. It would be seriously hard but if there's no father it would be very hard to raise a kid on your own. Or if your seriously young and have never been responsible before in your life. It is very sad and seriously hard. I can imagine why the mother would want to give her child a piece of her. Just a little memory. Even if she can't remember, the object could give a small little piece of the mother to her."

Dody suddenly felt really sad, but felt better with what Sister said next.

"It's nice that you don't get many children. Well in the positive sense that they all have homes. Anyway, that's nice that one stayed to help. One grew up, but they still probably turned out very loving and well." Dody said positively.

"Thank you I do." Dody felt a kick from her stomach and looked down to talk. "Yeah your all excited to have an Irish twin, yeah, yeah. Thank you Sister. I hope that it won't happen but if it does maybe it'll be nice for her to see her baby."

She shook Sister's hand back.

"Thank you, I just need refreshing luck. I raised three, now I just need to remember how I did it and my new two should be fine." Dody said possible a little to exited for someone with a baby on board.

[Florence Eragon]

Flo stopped in with the toddlers when she saw someone who shouldn't have been there.

"Quar? Is that you?" She asked to back of someone's head.

They turned around and sure enough it was.

"What in bloody hell are you doing here? Oh God one of these toddlers isn't yours is it?" Flo asked a little scared.

[Aquarius Demitri Mathais]

"What? No. I don't have a kid." Quar was a bit confused. "None of them are yours either right? Never mind. I came her looking for you. I thought you said you had a family? I mean to a certain extent I guess this could be considered a family; but I mean Flo you could have at least mentioned you were an orphan."

[Florence Eragon]

"What? Alright to start, no I do not have a kid." Flo said trying to make the whole meeting a little less awkward. "Second, I do have a family. I'm not an orphan, my Mother is here to adopt a baby. Now answer my question, why are you here?"

[Aquarius Demitri Mathais]

"Well that's a relief." Quar said. "Isn't your Mom already pregnant? Besides that isn't she like forty?"

Quar smiled. "I moved here, for you! I no longer live by the beach I know live in a city. It's amazing, and seriously different."

[Florence Eragon]

"Yes she's already pregnant, so what? No! She's only thirty five, and if you say she is older I am not paying for your funeral." Flo said.

"You did what?" Flo almost yelled, seriously stressed out by the situation now. "Your kidding me. What part of secret relationship do you not understand? Wait. How did you know I was here?"

"Alright let's just calm down, breathe." Quar said trying to get a old of the situation. "I understand secret relationships but at the same time we've been going out a really long time. I think now is a safe time to let everyone know about us. Someone led me here. I don't know who she was, but she seemed to know you well. She said something about always lurking around if that helps."
