When your father is insane, not much can be done. Except be labeled as an insane man's daughter. Born late into her parent's life, she had never known much outside of these manor walls. Her Aunt Angelique told her that she shouldn't leave her home, for dangers lay out there. But Sonora wanted to leave. She wanted adventure and her father only encouraged her. She couldn't leave him though. She was his caretaker. The butler was cruel and cold and could not be trusted in her opinion. Aunt Angelique was greedy and prideful and would murder him as soon as look at him to gain the inheritance. And with her mother long gone, Sonora was all he had left. Her, his unknown to the rest of the world, Sonora. She paced the halls again, her dress swishing around her ankles. She heard a sound. It wasn't the butler. Aunt was out. It must be some kids sneaking in. People! Her age, maybe. She wanted to meet them. But it was her duty to turn them out. For her father's sake. She followed the noise to see someone who definatly did not belong in her home. "Excuse me." She said, clearing her throat. "Who, may I ask, are you?" Dwyn turned slowly, from the peice of art she was looking at. Well, about to try and steal. Her dark green cape moving so one shoulder was reveled and her hood slid off a bit.
"Um... Hello. Lovely place you have here." she said.

"You know there are much more interesting things in the dungeon?" She said. "Such as the thousands of dead bodies you will soon be joining if you don't leave the house."
The seventeen year old tried to draw herself up taller to make herself look more fierce. Given that very few people knew of her existance, (her mother was a maid, so to avoid scandal, Auntie hid her existance) she probably just looked like the housekeeper or a rich ward.
"The dungeon rats are getting hungry." She said.

Dwyn's head tilted.
"For a girl that doesn't exsist, you sure are harsh." she said. The girl was to young to be a house keeper- and she had seen the matron of the house, the Lord's sister. So she was a child of some sort. Since Dwyn doubted that the matron was able to ever get a man. This girl was probably an illegitimate daughter.

Sonora smirked alittle.
"If I didn't exist, why would I be standing here in front of you." Sonora said. "And I would heed the advice and get out of here, before the Master of the House comes out here to deal with the problem himself. And trust me, you would not like that. Trespassing was a crime the last time I checked. And I do not remember inviting you in, and no one else in the house would have do so. Ergo, you are a trespasser."

Dwyn straighted.
"What are you seventeen? And already a bitter mistress?" she said, turning to leave.

"My age is none of your concern. And Aun-Miss Angelique would never allow the Master to have a mistress in the house." Sonora said. "What are you? 17? And already breaking and entering?"

"Aunt? So I was right." Dwyn said with a smile.
"Yes, And there are those younger with me, Miss Sheltered."

"Fine. Go and ahead and break into places. Just don't do it to my house!" Sonora said. "And I do believe you're wrong."

"Your Lord Monty's daughter," Dwyn said, stopping and looking over her shoulder.

"Indubidably." She said, smirking alittle. "You're still wrong about me though."

"You have never left this house. No one in this world knows about you. Someone in your house is a horrific bastard. You probably never knew much of your mother, who was probably some one lower on the chain of people. Your Aunt has kept you a secret for that reason." Dwyn said.
"Your sheltered. And easy to read."

Sonora straightened.
"My parents were married. And I did know my mother." Sonora said, coldly. "I may be sheltered, but atleast I'm useful here. And I may be easy to read, but I don't need to be read by people like you."

Dwyn smiled.
"That's why people like me can read you."

Sonora narrowed her eyes.
"Get out or I'll send you to the dungeon." She said.
