"I know that a couple of the farmers were unlucky, but most were able to redirect the fire in some way to save most of hteir crops." She said.
(ooc. you probably knew this, but yes, farmers back then had ways to keep fire away from their crops, including starting another fire...of course, if someone reads this and doesn't know that, this is good info....)_
