Elysia was sitting in a field. Which she thought was kind of funny, given where her name came from. The Elysian Fields. Well, it may not have been that funny, but it put a smile on her face.
She wasn't writing, but she had her notebook out. She was drawing.

Dhiren was in the Meadows, mostly exploring. He got to what looked to be just fields, many of them. It was a very beautiful site. He saw a girl sitting in one of the feilds what he couldn't tell was writing or drawing, but most definitely leaning and moving their hand. He recognized the red hair as well, from the odd girl that he met in Shireton.
He went over and sat down next to her and just looked at the scenery.

She tore out a sheet of paper from her note book and wrote on it.
"Hi" it said upon it.

Dhiren looked at the paper, and took a pen from his pocket, that he hoped wasn't the one with invisible ink. He wrote back, "Hello."

She smiled. There was no mark on the paper besides her own.
"Broken pen?" She wrote. She offered him hers with a smile.

Dhiren smiled and accepted the pen. "No, it has ink that doesn't show. I forget to switch them out." he wrote.

"You can talk, you know. I can hear." She wrote. "If you'd prefer it, that is. Most people find writing quickly to be a challenge"

"I don't mind, it is nice to not talk for a period of time," he wrote back. "You only get faster with practice. I have no doubts at your hearing ability."

She smiled alittle.
"So I take it you're going to adopt my way of life?" She wrote. It was meant to be teasing, but of course, writing is never the same as speaking.

Stellan smirked and shook his head.
"No,but sometimes it is nice not having to speak," he wrote back.

"I wouldn't know." She wrote. "Not really missing out on much, in my eyes. Speaking never seemed important. It is to others, apparently. But not to me."

"You have never spoken? I guess that would seem odd to some, well many. Some people talk to much," he wrote.

"I'm mute." She wrote. "That kinda means I've never spoken. EVER"

Dhiren nodded.
"I could have been a choice. You never know," he wrote.

"Vows of silence are stupid. People never stick to them and just make fools of themselves."[\i] She wrote. "I've never spoken and right now have no plans to, because I obviously can't."
