Theo seemed pretty cool, he could be an ass though. "Yeah, anyone would be a step up from him. Geroge was a complete ass." Rast said. "As long as he is nice.And i know where he lives."

"Yup. Theo can be an ass sometimes, but he isn't a complete ass. So I figure that I'll keep working my way up the boyfriend ladder until I reach the guy who isn't an ass and I want to spend the rest of my life with. Though, by that time I'll be old. So there won't be much life left." Elly said. "Who knows though? Maybe Theo will be "the one." Though I doubt it."

She closed her eyes and remembered her last relationship. It was a game of cat and mouse. Her being the mouse manipulated by the cat, of course. It was cliche and over told, but it was still true. And she had loved him, or at least thought she had. But not anymore. But when you still have scars from that time in your life, both mental and physical, it burdens you. You carry them with you forever and it weighs on your heart. He had never left a mark on her, but she had left a mark on herself. And sometimes, when things got to be just too much, she still did.
"God, we're just all fucked up, aren't we?" She asked.

He saw Elly's expression get depressed and he glanced at the thin scars trailing up and down Elly's arms. That ass had destroyed Elly to the point that she destroyed her self.
"Yeah, we are screwed up." he agreed.
