Noah looked around his new home with disgust. It was all because of the stupid new baby. Apparently their old house in Kyyra was too small and the city too crowded and they had to move out here.
Karin Gillia-Tucker was not his mother. She was his stepmother who was pregnant with his new little sibling. He liked Karin, actually. She was a better mother to him than his real mother ever was. But his father had lost his mind over this child. His old house had four large bedrooms in it and they lived in hte part of Kyyra that wasn't as filled with people. Karen liked it better in Kyyra anyway. She went to the church everyday for the 8 years he had known her to pray and look at the children in the orphanage. She couldn't do that here.
Karin and him were unpacking, because his father, the only one who wanted to move, was at the local bar.
"This is so stupid." He said. "Our old place was fine and we weren't even close to being caught."
"Well, look at it this way, honey, you'll be closer to the Crescent base here and there are alot of Crescents living here." Karin said, softly.
"Yeah. Whatever. Do you mind if I go outside?" He asked. She nodded.
Outside, it was warm, but with a slight chill to it. It was still early spring, so it was supposed to warm up. He trudged through the village and snapped "Yes." when someone said hello.

"Oh. You're not in a good mood. That's sad. People here are always in a good mood, so you must be new here and haven't gotten happy yet." Moria said. "Of course, as a small town, people just have to appear happy, so it doesn't matter whether or not you. Then again you're new. So you're the new kid. That means people are going to give you hell. You should give them hell back, new kid."

Aislin was pretty sure she was supposed to meet Moria, or she was going to come over. She wasn't quite sure. The girl spoke in riddles. She saw Moria outside talking to one of her new neighbors. As she walked up all she heard was "give them hell back, new kid."
"Moria, should you be encoraging hell giving? To the new people no less." she asked her friend. "Hi, new lad. I'm Aislin, technically new here to. But you have lifted the bond of new girl off my head. For that I must thank you, lad."

"Oh, Aislin." She said. "Yes, because when it is encouraged, it becomes common place and common place is what we strive for. You know that. Of course, sometimes the things we encourage are the wrong things. And then they become commonplace. What happens then?"

"Umm...I'm Noah." He said. He looked at the petite girl with warm chocolate brown eyes and hair. He loudly whispered to Aislin, the girl with fiery red hair and grass green eyes.
"What's her problem? Is she special?" He whispered to her. He figured that the girl could hear, but he didn't really care.

"Then we have to change it so it is no longer commonplace. But if it is common place we might not know it is wrong any more." Aislin replied to Moria.
She looked Noah over. "You could say we are all special so yes, she is." Aislin told him. "It is just the way she talks, and thinks. It's riddles, riddles are fun, Moria is fun."

"I hate riddles." He said. "They are not fun and are confusing, especially when only you know the answer."
He looked the girl over as well and gave her a challenging glare. But to his surprise, it was the girl called Moria that gave him a challenging glare back.

"Not all riddles only one person knows the answer to, lad. Sometime it is just whether you figure ou the answer." Aislin said. "Matters of opinion."
She noted the glare Moria was giving Noah with curiosity.

She glared at Noah.
"Those who have something to say that hurts another had best keep their mouths shut, before someone goes and hurts you." She said. "Those who speak of what they know find too late that prudent silence is wise."

"I'm sure that makes sense in your head, but it doesn't to anyone else, so speak normally." He said. She just gave him another glare.
"Can you tell your friend to speak like a normal person?" He asked the redhead.

"She sounds like she is speaking regular to me. Bhuel rialta de réir mar a d'fhéadfadh sé a bheith chugam, ó tá mé a úsáidtear chun a bheith mar seo a labhair le." Aislin said. "Basically she told you, say something nice or say nothing at all."

"Ar ne jûs suprantate, kà að pasakyti?" Moria said. "Aislin can't either, but that's her fault. Of course, it might not be her fault. Maybe it was never an option for her to learn it. But then she should try to. Or maybe not. Aislin, are you keeping up?"

Aislin nodded. "Yes, And it is my fault. I did have the option, but I opted out of it. I needed to learn english to adapt here." she said. "Now, I wish I chose Lithuanian."

"Taip, aš galiu." He said, in response. He could understand her perfectly. "You should have learned it. It's a beautiful language."

Aislin sighed. She wasn't going to understand half of the conversation now.... but oh well. "Eh, I like my language better." Gaelic wasn't pretty but she couldn't stand pretty languages, especially French.
