"Auntie Serrie?!" Elly yelled as she burst through Serena and Tidus's door. She stopped knocking years ago, since they were always busy doing something and would just yell come in. "Are you here?"

Sitting on the couch with a book in her hand she looked up and saw Elly.
"Hello, Elly," she said with a soft smile and slowly closed her book, setting it down on the table in front of her and walked towards Elly. Giving her a hug.

"Auntie Serrie!" She said, hugging her back. "How have you been? I'm sorry I didn't come over sooner. I was sick and then Aeron decided to be a jackass."
She sat down next to her Auntie.
"How have you been?" She asked.

"Oh, how come?" she asked her and sat down with Elly.
"I've been fine. The usual," she said picking up a glass of tea that was still quite hot from when she made it last.

Elly rolled her eyes
"Because he's an eighteen year old boy. Doesn't that just automatically make him a jackass?" She asked. "How's Unkie Tidus doing? He ok?"

"Well, it doesn't mean that he really is. Thats what I thought about Uncle Tidus in the beginning, but once I got to know him. I found that he was nice." she said in one breath, taking a sip of her tea.
"Uncle Tidus is doing good," she answered.

"Yeah, but he's not your brother. He's your husband and your friend before that. Aeron is my brother." She said. "And that's good. Dad says hi by the way. He's too busy to take time off of work, but he said that he sends his love."

"Either way, you should still try," she said.
"Really? How is he? Once you see him again, I said hi back," she mumbled sitting back in her chair.

"He's been at work twenty four seven since all this started. He used to be able to balance everything. But since Mom was like one of those people that made that balancing act possible, and she's missing, so he's not doing well." She said.

"Is there anything I could do?" she asked. Hearing this made her feel sympathy, now she wanted to help especially when it was someone who was really close to her. She didn't want it to go too bad.

"Nothing that hasn't been tried a billion times before. It's been seven years Aunt Serrie. He's trying his best, but seven years without Mom has kinda made him depressed. Especially since we'll never know what happened." Elly said.

She rubbed Elly's back, "well, if he ever needs help I'll be here. I'll try my best to help. I want to see you guys happy."
Smiling softly, "you want anything darling," she offered.

"Hmm...have you recently whipped up a batch of your world famous, jealousy causing cookies? Because if you have, I must ask you to share." She said. "And I'll pass along the offer. 'Phina and jackass might like it."

She laughed a bit and pointed at the counter in the kitchen, "I baked some of them an hour ago, they are wrapped up in a cloth to keep them a bit warm," she said to Elly.
