Tulia ran through the bush to the river's bank, in the torrential rain. It was a hard downpour and it felt cleansing. She stopped and pointed her face towards the sky, letting the rain impact her directly. Her breathing deepened and steadied. She closed her eyes. And let her tears fall.

Aiden was walking down the river, then he saw... a girl. He walked a little closer and saw she was crying. He went closer, "Are you alright?"

She nodded.
"I am quite alright." She said, obviously holding back some sort of emotion. She bottled up her sadness and became the cool, calm, composed person she was. The one with no conscience.

Aiden smirks, "No your not, I know it's none of my business but tell a stranger your problems you might feel better. Bonus is you'll never see me again."

She smiled alittle.
"Is that so?" She said. "My sin is that I dreamed. I dreamed that God would be forgiving. But the tigers come at night, with their voices soft as thunder, as they tear your hope apart, and they turn your dream to shame."
(ooc. I figure I can't copy right Les Mis. I dreamed that God would be forgiving on is all from "I dreamed a dream")

Aiden smirked, "It happens to the best of us, you just got to get back on your feet and go again."

"I've missed the rain." She said. "What's your problem? If you tell it to a stranger, you'll feel better and you'll never see me again."

Aiden chuckles, "I've heard that line before, I just can't remember where." He rolls his eyes and says, "Problem? Who said I have a problem? Can't I just take a leisurely stroll through the woods?"

"Not in the rain. People taking walks in the woods through the rain normally have problems." Tulia said. "I would know."

"So it seems." Aiden looks up in the sky then back. "I think my life's finally catching up with me. Everything I've done I think I've finally realized how terrible it is. So a little walk in the rain seemed like the way for me to keep my life the same. I don't know."

"Nothing gold can stay." Tulia said, shaking her head. "As much as a person wishes it to be so, nothing can ever stay the same."
She wrapped her arms around her chest.
"You ever been to AlMaught?" She asked.

Aiden closes his eyes, "I know." He opens his eyes and continues, "Golden times comes for a day but never stays till the end."
"Yeah. I live in AlMaught." Aiden says turning his head towards her.

"I'm heading there." She said. "Call this.......a constructive detour for my mental state."
She took a deep breath.
"Or call it whatever else you want." She said. "I'll go to my grave swearing that I'm not crazy."

Aiden smiles, "Your not crazy. If you were you'd have less hair." He chuckles, "As you can tell I stick at making jokes but what does it really matter? Anyway sometimes people need brakes. Take one, it will be good for you."

"Tell that to my mother." She said, drily. She smiled wryly. "I found it humorous."
