Draven had just recently reentered this area, after a few years abroad and travelling. How long had it been, again? Five, ten years? He had left with his father when he was not more than a young boy.
He was eight when he left. Twelve years. His mum had died long ago and his father was lost at sea. He really had no ties to this place and had liked many other places much more. All he remember of this place was that it was cold and boring. And so far, every thing he had seen confirmed this remembrance. Maybe after he settled all the post-burial affairs of his recently departed uncle, he would go back to the sea. Nothing keeping him here.
He heard someone behind him. He chose to just ignore them.

"Well, this guy's an ass." Asmer thought as she tried to get the guys attention.
"Could you not ignore me please?" she said.

Draven heard an impatient girl behind him.
"Well, I didn't know that you wanted recognition. However, as I do not know you, I highly doubt I need to waste my time on you." Draven said. "So I would suggest hurrying along and getting back in the kitchen, where you belong."

Asmer took a deep breath, her mom said no more fights. Even if the guy was an ass.
"I don't really like the kitchen, little to stuffy. I prefer sewing."...sewing wounds back together, she thought. "I was going to give you back this, but apparently you have no need for it, I'm sure I can find a family around here in need of it," She said hold in out his wallet.

He held out his hand. There wasn't any money in there, so it was just sentimental value anyway. He opened up hte wallet and showed her.
"It wouldn't have helped you anyway. The wallet's worthless. Nothing in there. Thanks." He said, pocketing it.

"You would think this guy would be rich with how arrogant he seems..." she thought.
"Your welcome," Asmer said. "You might want to be nicer to the locals, before someone decides to get you lost."

"Hmmm....I'll be here for maybe a few more weeks and so far, you're the only person I've meet who actually speaks or does anything. So.....I highly doubt that. Again." He said, smirking.

Asmer cocked her head to the side.
"Actually speaks or does anything...." She said slowly. "Who the heck are you talking to?"

"Besides you?" He asked, shrugging. "No one. No one ever responds. This place is the same as I remember it, I guess. Cold and boring."

"Cold, yes. Boring,.." She looked him up and down. "Of course you would find it so. You just seem closed off. and arrogant. A combo most around here would want to get to know better."

"And I suppose you're the exception to the rule and this makes you want to leave me alone?" He asked hopefully. He looked around and sighed. "I'm from here you know. Kyyra, to be specific. Been gone a long time though."

"I think a cat got my tongue. Not want to get to know you, pardon me." Asmer said. She forgot words often... "Really? Where'd you go?"

He shrugged.
"Everywhere." He said. "Any place you could imagine and then some."

Asmer thought for a second.
"An island of choclate with horses with talons and three horns of different metals and sizes." Asmer said. "Natives with skin the color of grass."

"Seen everything but the talons on horses. But I did see talons on dogs." He said, bored. "Anything else?"
