"The town? Busy, loud, some people are nice. But we are in war at the moment, I'm sure you already know," Essa said laughing at her own stupidity.

[Samara Diavolo]

She looked at her in surprise.

"You are?" She asked. "I didn't know that."

[essa]

Essa nodded.

"Yes, we are. It is causing all to scatter scared."

[Samara Diavolo]

"Humans would do something like that." She said, quietly. She was not like them. Human, that is. She was elvish. Or half elvish. She supposed in a way she was human, but her mother was an elf and she was raised among them. That's what she considered herself to be. But she had to be human now. Nothing would erase her ears though....

[essa]

Essa smiled to her.

"Humans love war."

[Samara Diavolo]

"It's a crude art." She said, simply. "Only humans would love it."

[essa]

Essa shook her head.

"War is not as crude as you think. Deadly, but not crude. I've see in in action, and it is a beautiful art. A dance of sorts. No one would call a dance crude."Essa said, remembering the few battles she had seen. The arrows and all. She was running but time had seemed to slow.

[Samara Diavolo]

"It's a crude art then." She said. "Something only humans would take pleasure in."

[essa]

Essa nodded.

"Who said we take pleasure in it?"

[Samara Diavolo]

"If you didn't, then you wouldn't be participating in it so often." Samara said. "All your kind's history books, all of them, have a war in them."

[essa]

"We dont' take pleasure in it, love. We fight, it is natural instint to kill each other. It is animal. Humans are animals. Many cultures participate in it. Many species might be a better word." Essa said.

[Samara Diavolo]

"Not all cultures. Not all species. Very few are actually violent. Just yours and what you know." She said.

[essa]

"Not true, love. All species are in competition. War, is just our form of competition. Chisled and honed over the years. All species are in a war of sorts. The crow with the worm. The newt and the snake. It is just a different kind of war." Essa said.

[Samara Diavolo]

Samara frowned.

"Well love, Human kind is only aware of about 10% of hte world's population. And wouldn't you know it, the other 90% of the population in this world disapprove of war, fighting, violence, and everything else and are rather vocal about it?" She said.

[essa]

Essa looked at the girl, stopping.

"Vidor told me of your kind. Your not even true. Half-Elf." Essa spat. She had noticed the ears as they walked. "The human population is flawed. But so is the Elven. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean the flaws aren't there. Humans are emotional, they may spill blood, but only because our kind haven't found our peace yet. Elves not only live longer but also have been around longer, so there for have already found their peace. You assume things about people you have only read about. I am probably the second or third human you have ever met. You are an assuming creature. Do not classify all humans as bad, as I don't classify all elves as bad. You have personal proven to me that you judge quickly. So, love, yes the humans fight. But that doesn't mean our motives are because we find pleasure in it. Some do, yes, but not all. You cannot classify humans as blood thirsty, because some are not."

(ooc. granted in this reality we have maybe two charcters that aren't... non murders are just not fun. I hope you don't mind her calling the girl half elf because i kinda assumed that Vidor would know because of Deragon(cause serioulsy if deragon doesn't know we have some major problems) (and Deary tends to blab from time to time) and then he would have told Essa, because she would have eventually found out about his past type stuff. Yeah sorry, it's almost four in the morning been up since 2 and I'm bored out of my mind)
