Delvin heard singing coming from outside his window. The voice was pretty good but muffled, so he opened the window. And realized the voice was coming from Thana's vocal cords. 'Well there she is...' he though and climbed out on his roof.
"You know, Brambles, you are a real pain in the rear end." Delvin called out.

"That's your opinion, Oak!" She shouted back. "I'm out of the town, I'm no longer your concern!"
She turned around to face him on his roof.
"What the hell are you doing on a roof? Are you an idiot?" She asked.

"You have a few more feet to walk before your out of town limits." Delvin said. "But you are no longer my concern."
He looked down.
"It is perfectly safe up here, the roof is sturdy. I've been coming up here since I was thirteen." Delvin said.

"And what are you? Twenty? There's alot of difference between a thirteen year old and a twenty year old!" Athena said. "That roof isn't going to hold you up forever! Imma laugh if you fall."
She turned and kept on walking. If he didn't fall she was going to be disappointed. To be quite honest, she couldn't stand him. He was so opinionated and arragant. God she hated people like that. Reminded her of all her ex-boyfriends.

(ooc. do you want him to fall my dear?)
Delvin smiled. The roof had been reinforced over the past few years-- by Delvin, in his short stint as a contractor. The roof would hold, but he decided to jump off anyway.
He landed in a roll as to not have all of the impact hit at once. Then he got up and caught up with Thena.

(and break his neck. what else would you expect from me?) He caught up with her. "What do you want?" Athena asked. "I would have figured you'd have gone inside by now."

"Great. You do realize that at some point you're going to have to get away from me. I'm continuing south and you live here." Athena pointed out. "And I hate the snow so it better not come down."

Delvin shrugged, he still had a little bit of time- till she hit the river at least.
"You don't like snow? Your kidding right? Snow is amazing." Delvin said.

"I hate snow. It's cold, it's wet, and it makes everyone in my hometown go insane. We can't go outside and do anything when it snows. We have to stay inside and read or sew. I hate sewing and my father doesn't want me reading, so I end up sewing. I hate snow!" She said, with a passion.

Delvin couldn't help it-- he had to laugh. Not only couldn't he picture this girl sewing, he passionate hate of snow was just funny to him.

"What are you laughing at?" She asked, crossly. "Haven't you ever heard of a girl that hates sewing? Or are you just from a place where all the girls do is sew and listen to their parents and never have any fun or do anything?"

"God, you are such a jackass." She said, quicking her pace and trying to walk away from him.

Delvin got his laughter under control and went up to Thena.
"To awnser your earlier question, I was laughing at the image of you sewing and you sever hate of snow. Then you made me laugh more because none of the girls here, well some of them do but for the most part, none of them like sewing and are no where near docile." Devin said.
