Stumbling~Athena Delvin+~

[Delvin Oak]

Delvin snorted. "I already have enough painful things in my life thank you." he said. "Nope, you got your own hopes up. Nothing earth shattering, well it is for the couple, but not for the others."

Delvin had seen so many of the woodlands fall in love, he had always been jealous but at the same time happy for them. He had people that deserved it fall, and even those who didn't really deserve it, fall.

[Athena Thoreley]

"Oh yes, and what is going on in your mind? You can tell me. In a few hours, I won't ever see you again and your secrets will be safe with me." Athena said.

[Delvin Oak]

Delvin looked at the terrain. "Less than that, actually." Delvin said. "What do you care for my secrets?" Thena had shown no before interest in him, what would make her wish to know now? It isn't like she needs more problems.

[Athena Thoreley]

"Hmm...maybe because I just spilled my guts to you and to ensure that you don't go and find someway to tell the whole world my secrets, which I wouldn't put past you, then I need to know yours. Tic for a Tac." She said.

[Delvin Oak]

Delvin shrugged. Made sense. He would probably forget about her in a few years, so there wasn't much chance of him spilling her secrets but who knows? "Sure why not. What do you want to know?" Delvin said.

[Athena Thoreley]

She put her arms behind her back and was slightly in front of him. She stopped and turned her head and had a soft smile on her face.

"Anything you want to tell me." She said.

[Delvin Oak]

Delvin shrugged. Want to tell her? That would be nothing. "I don't like or wish to tell you anything, your going to have to ask me if you want to know something." he said. He straightened his back and put his hands in the pockets of his trousers.

He was always reluctant to tell people things. No matter who it was. Even Phyre had to drag things out of him.

"Hmmm.." She said, thinking. "Let's see. Oh! Here's an easy that's always on a mind to some degree. Parents. What are yours like and why are they bothering you?"

[Delvin Oak]

"Only have my mom. My dad stayed in Kyyra when the woodlands moved here. It has always been me my mom and grandmama." Delvin said. "I'm worried about my grandma, she is really sick and is starting to loose her memory. Ever since grandpa died, she has been lost."

[Athena Thoreley]

"I'm sorry." She said. She meant it too. It was hard havng someone you loved just kinda....go away like that. She had gone through it too, with her grandparents. It was a tough thing, watching someone go like that.

[Delvin Oak]

Delvin shrugged. "It isn't your fault." he said. "There are times when she comes back though, that makes it worth all the other things. Any thing else you wish to know?" He wanted to get off the topic of his grandmother.

"What about relationships?" She asked. "I'm sure that you've got something good to entertain us with."

[Delvin Oak]

"Had a few, had a few more, fell in love, broke up." Delvin said shrugging. "That was a couple years ago though." He was sure he had fallen for the girl, never really sure if she loved him back.

[Athena Thoreley]

"Arranged relationships. Like I said, love never has anything to do with it. Couple of boring guys, couple of arragont ones and so on and so forth." She said. "That's sad. Did she love you back or was it a onesided thing?"

[Delvin Oak]

"Well that sucks... You never liked a single one?" He asked. "Onesided, to the best of my knowledge."
