"Darling, I'm a Crescent. We don't run. We stalk the night and it's dark creatures." Elly said. "And we get really annoying with our rhyming and figurative language. But you would know that. You're one yourself. As is your mother."
Elly put her back up against a wall as she heard them coming. They were about to cross right by them.
"When I run, run in the opposite direction and meet me at Clyde's Park in the center of town." Elly said, right before she bolted in front of the guards. And into the next alleyway.

Flo ran the opposite way.
'Mom a crescent? Wow.' Flo thought as she ran to Clyde's Park.
When she got there she sat on a bench, ready to run at any moment.
'I knew I was but mom. Gasp. Just wow.' Flo shook her head and snapped out of her thoughts to a noise. She dove behind the bench. She saw it was Elly.
"Yo." She said.

"Yo yourself." Elly said, helping her up.
"It..umm....turns out Dad wanted to relive some memories and do some grunt work tonight. I had to pull out a few extra tricks. Sorry I'm late." Elly said. "And we're going to have to be able to run very fast very soon. I think I'm grounded."

She heard them behind and she slowly walked into the shadows of Clyde Park.
"This way.." She called out, softly, surely.

Flo followed. Silently. Like a ninja, well then again she is technically a ninja.
"Where we going?" She whispers so softly Elly would barely be able to hear it.

Elly put her hand along a wall as they walked along. They were out of the park and it should be somewhere around here...Oh..there it was. She grabbed on and jumped up, into a fire escape a floor up.
"Up here Flo." She whispered.

"Third window from this ledge." Elly said. "You ready? Our skills are gonna come in handy right about n-"
She cut herself off jumping from the spot she was on to the window three spots over. She made it and hung by a finger. Then someone pulled her up.
"Come on Flo!" Elly said, reaching her hand out for her friend.

"You know my brother Aeron." She said, pointing to Aeron, who was looking rather peeved. She pointed at the blonde, who was looking sicker. "This is his wife, Nebia."

"Ok. Well then. I'll be gone soon enough." Flo went over to the window and looked out. She saw people running and splitting trying to find them. She smirks.
"Not long now."
