She winced.
"I think so." She said, painfully. "What were they just yelling about?"
She something red trickling on his shirt.
"Are you ok?" She asked.

Rigan set her down so he could take a look at her ankle. "I believe they think your a hostage." he told her.
He looked down at his shirt. There was some red on it though how she noticed it on all black clothing in the dead of night was past him. "Yeah, I'm fine." he said. "It isn't mine."

She cocked her head to one side.
"Why would they think that?" She asked. She felt him touch her ankle and she winced in pain.

"Usually nice girls don't run down ally's holding killers arms on their own free wills." Rigan told her with a slight smirk. He was more gentle seeing her wince. "This should be wrapped."

She didn't have anything to wrap it with, and she doubted Rigan did.
"With what?" She asked.

"Ummm... That's a good question." He said. He looked at his tunic, he needed a new one anyway. He tore a strip from his tunic to wrap around her ankle. "This will work till i can find something better."

She nodded and got up. It was still painful, but she thought that it didn't hurt as much. She probably just got used to it though. She grabbed onto Rigan's arm to steady herself. There were voices closing in on them from one side of the alley, but she couldn't tell if they were voices of the people chasing them or just random people.

Rigan perked up at the sound of the voices. They sounded more laid back than the guards, less clanking. "I don't think it is guards, but we should probably move just in case. Are you okay to walk?" he asked her.

"I think so." She said. It still hurt like heck, but she thought she would be ok.

Rigan nodded. "Can you give me a general area of where your aunt's house is? I could probably get you there. She should be able to get better care for your ankle." he told her. "Tell me if the pain is too much, I could probably carry you."

She tried to think of where it was, but she just couldn't. She hadn't been in this city long enough to know where anything was, let alone where she was staying. All she could remember is that it was near a bunch of other houses that were large as well. She told Rigan this and bite her lip.

Rigan smiled. "Well, I guess were going to look for some big houses." he said turning towards the richer district of town.

She recognized her Aunt's house (and not just because her aunt was in the window...seriously!) Rigan helped her up the steps.
"Thank you." She said.

Rigan nodded. "Your welcome." he said with a small bow. He kissed her hand and left as Mina's aunt opened the door- Quickly.

Her aunt ushered her in, not noticing her ankle or her niece's slight limp. She went up to her room and opened the window, out of habit. She had been doing that for years. She just couldn't sleep without the sound of the wind.
She got into her pajamas, but she could not fall asleep. She didn't know why, but she couldn't.
