Ryder heard the girl yell but still had to go to his boss. No matter what the girl thought, it wasn't under his athority to release prisoners. Sure he could fake that someone higher up had told him to do so. That was how the boss gave release orders anyway. But he didn't do that.
He got to his boss and gave the synopsis of what the girl said. the Commander nodded and gave him permission to release the girl.
Ryder went back down to release "Anna".

Finally! She was free! Gloria hopped out of her cell and straight to the bar nearby, where she frequented.
"Hello! I am finally free from the opression known as prison! Again!" She said, as she entered. It was a small bar and everyone who went there knew her, since most of them were either her age or in their seventies. The guy from earlier though had been a newbie and the bar had been pretty empty.
She took her usual seat at the bar and her friends gathered round her.
"Gloria Charlotte Milton, you fiend!" Her friend, Meg said. "As if you're not in there five or six times a month!"
Gloria laughed. "So I'm behind this month then! I'm only on trip four!"

Ryder was bored. One of the other guards had told him about this place. He saw a couple of other off duty guards near the bar and went to talk to them.
Ryder noticed the girl he had talked to earlier that day. Not only did her friend call her Gloria, there was a comment on how many times she made it to jail a month. He stepped behind her. "Well, let's get you up to speed, Gloria." he said.

"Shit." She said. She was actually going to go willingly. When you're caught, you're caught. But of course, her big brother, who was apart of the group didn't take kindly to people like the guard and didn't like it when his sister got taken in, despite the amounts of time it had happened. But he didn't care if she did the activities that got her taken in, of course.
So, her brother, Daniel threw a punch at the guard guy.

Ryder dodged the punch to the best of his ability, basically getting hit in the jaw instead of the eye. The guy hit hard. And Ryder hit back. As the fight progressed the rest of the guard and a lot of the other guys in the bar started fighting as well. It seemed like the whole place had a grudge against each other.

Gloria sighed. Again? Really? She felt like asking, but didn't. There was a barfight here almost every night. But the barkeep, Sal, kept saying it would never equal the Great Bar Fight of Jaysn and Amaya's bachelorette party" Which happened before she was born, so she was unfortunately not there. She went over to guard dude and tapped him on the shoulder.
"You going to take me back to that hellhole or not? I'm seriously tired of these crappy fights everynight." She said, bored.

"Hold on." he told her, gave the guy that he was fighting another punch in the privates making him fall over. "Yes, now I'll arrest you." he said grabbing her arm and taking her out of the bar. "How often does that happen?" he asked.

"That size? Almost never." She said. "Smaller ones? Every night."
His grasp on her arm was kind of tight so she tried pulling away.

Ryder nodded. He loosened his grip a bit,but not enough for he to be able to get away. "Now, why are you normally in jail five to six times a month?" he asked her.

"I fail to see how that is any of your business." She said, blankly. "It's like me asking you what you had for dinner last night. It's just not important and not really relevant to anything."

"Like i said earlier, my commander lost your file. I have to make it from scratch." Ryder told her. "Now i have your name, i just need your offenses."

"49 percent of it is pickpocketing and shoplifting. The other 49 percent is fights, and I guess this is a new charge. Lying to an officer." She said. "And no, I do not work for anyone."
Of course, the last part was a lie. She was a Crescent and when she was on contract, she did not get caught. It simply was not done. But to her, half the fun of her recreational stealing was getting chased by the guards. Most of hte time she outran them, but a few times a month she got caught and put in jail. As a thief in the Crescents, she didn't get paid as much as those who killed for them, but she got paid enough to have a small apartment. (bad area of town, but nonetheless a home)

"Your missing 2% but okay." Ryder said. She was probably lying about something, but what else was there to expect? He lead her through the gates of the prision and sat her in a room, not a cell. An office like room.

She wasn't in a cell. What the fuck? Did they change the rules in the last five minutes? Damnit. She had spent three months memorizing those rules too. God. How could they?
"What's all this for?" She asked.

Ryder shrugged.
"Someone decided that interrogations should have their own rooms a few hours ago." he said. "So basically someone got tired of the extra offices being used as seven minute in heaven closets during guards breaks."
