Damion nodded. It was a fate worse than death. He had heard the other prisoners screams from the top floor where he was on the bottom. He had been put through the Tortures a few times but he didn't have any good information, except about Crescents and Woodlanders. They didn't to it to him very ofthen unless it was for fun. "Yes, that is a fate worse than death."

Jaysn watched the exchange; she could see the hurt in Damion's eyes. Abby seemed to be calming down the words weren't coming from clenched teeth any more. "Yeah, food would be nice."

Damion was shocked. He had never heard of Abby cooking all that much before he was taken. "Um... Banana bread?" Damion said. Cooking must be a mom thing, he decided.

"They're good. May is coming along good with her training. Aeron and her can't seem to stop fighting. Elly is doing a good job at keeping them from killing each other." Jay said.

"Reminds me of Resa and Drew. They were at each other's throats until last year. And now their inseprable. They'll get over it eventually. Or Elly will give up and they will kill each other." Abigail said. "Me and Darach were the same way when we were kids. Then, around fifteen, everything changed."

"I hope they get over it. Ama would--" Jay stoped. She didn't really talk about Amaya much since she had dissappered. Jay just dealt with it, there were other things she had to deal with. "Well, Who knows maybe in a couple years May and Aeron will be telling me they're getting married."

"He's holding it together. Mostly for the kids. He isn't loosing himself in work like his dad did thankfully. I think he'll make it." Jay said. Dante had been strong she was just worried what would happen when he lost it.
