"That makes no sense. Babies are small, we are now big. How can we still be babies?" Gabe asked.

"In our parent's eyes, we never grew up all those years ago. Mentally and physically we are almost adults. But to our parents we will always be that small child that would run around picking flowers for them and would play with the things we weren't supposed to touch." Lily said.

"Do they have some kind of mental defect then? Something that causes them not to see us as we are older?" Gabe asked.

"Yes, they do. It's called parenting." Lily said. "Because no matter what, they will never see you as an adult, until you are married to Emma or sometime around that."

Gabe nodded. "So, Unless Rastus gets married Mom will see him as a kid?" Gabe asked. It still sounded like a disease to him but it made some sense. "It is still not logical. I think I understand though."

"Rastus will probably never marry, because the girl he loves hasn't shown any interest. Your mom will see him as an adult now because of what he told her. And when he knocks his first girl up and refuses to marry her." Lily siad.

"How would that make her look at him as an adult? That action seems childish." Gabe said. "Parents are just plain weird."

"Because at that point in time, he's got his own kid to worry about. That makes him an adult. Just be glad that you'll be seen as an adult for marrying your girlfriend, who loves you and basically worships you." Lily said.

Gabe smiled. He liked Emma a lot, he didn't really see himself marrying her. "Maybe. I don't think she worships me though. That wouldn't be logical as well."

"Women do things that aren't logical Gabe. Like loving someone who they can never be with or falling in love with the wrong person. And I've seen how she looks at you. It's worship. Hero worship, but she is obsessed with you." Lily said.

Gabe frowned. "Is anyone logical?" he asked. "How do you get someone un-obsessed then?"

"Murder." Lily said, with a sadistic smile. Even she had her violent moments.

"Isn't that a little extreme?" Gabe asked. "Let's not kill anyone. The other do enough of that for all of us."

"Suit yourself. You want a suicidal, pyscho stalker as your girlfriend, go ahead. Because if you ever leave her Gabriel, she will kill herself. She's just put that much into this relationship. You are her world. If she had it her way, she would be your world." Lily said. "Watch yourself. If she can't have you, she may just make it so that no one can."

Gabe frowned. "Oh." Gabe said. "That wouldn't be good."
